na i think it was a solid game up until 05 especially since that was the year they added all star saturday night with the dunk contest but after that its like these niggas just fell asleep at the wheel smh

that dunk contest shit is what killed Live for me...I mean throwing the ball off the scoreboard? Damn near flying? Dunking on Shaq w/ Jason Kidd? Shit like that is was made Live go down hill

live was the 1st bball game i owned(Well...after nba jam). live 98 was my shit but i was n and outta bbal games so my next live game wasnt until live 2003. between then i played 2k when it 1st came out on dreamcast wit AI on the cover...then i played 2k2. then i stopped wit 2k...then i got every live after 2003...2005 was the last best 1 wit melo on the cover. i got up to live 2009 wit tony parker on the cover(smh at me being so late...i lost), then i called it quits. then i got 2k10 after that and ive been hooked. nba live/elite lost.

Live 05 was the last good year. It was a rap after that.

I never use to like that shit too tough because of the freethrows.. but i alwasy loved 2k's outside courts.. like i said back then you couldnt tell me shit.. but when i got mines i had to convert some niggas.

nba street homecourt happened..they took everything that made 2 and 3 good and took it out, shit became too damn serious. no commentary, shit like that. they messed with it too much

EA couldn't recover from that so they just scrapped the entire game

problem with EA is that they focus on BULLSHIT, seems like they spend most of their time on Menu Screens and Modes and don't spend enough time trying to fix the Gameplay, the one thing they do have over 2K Sports is that Dribble Stick Control...2K Sports need to steal that idea because all this HOLD Left Trigger Down and Rotate the Stick...don't like it all that much...and 2K Sports Dribbles are STIFF and sometimes too slow

As for NBA Live/Elite...NO HOPE! EA should just give up on making NBA Games
