Feels like only yesterday I wasn't surrounded by my friends
Is there's a wall keeping me from you?
Was I expecting too much from you?
Was it something that we done you?
Does something bout me really scare you?
Did you even notice that around you the dreams we had really did come true?

Looking in my rear view my woes and worries get left behind.
Kin folks and friends. Loved ones I thought was down for life.
Destroying bonds that made me. Frees my heart from all they knives.
Cried help but answers caused more questions. Strip my mind of all they lies.


those lines hit!!! i think we all go thru trials and tribulations, and during those times, we know who are truest folks are, people that be there for you and not betraye you!

anyways, you keep the head up, keep writing, and keep the faith!

hahaha, i feel that.. you know, it's crazy, some of the pieces we write when intoxicated, believe it not, it's some of our best works lol..

I LOVE POETRY!! poetry saved my life in every aspect in fact. So i owe poetry a lot. I try and hold it down here, and to be honest, i actually fell off hard on this site my self.. but I try and not neglect my truest folks right chere' expressing them lines we call poetry... and YES!!! please visit more often, if people do, trust me, I'd be here more often myself as well!!!

anyways, thanks for motivating me with your encouraging words and recognizing what i do here lol..
