if a lotta these rappers niggas put on a pedestal ain't have a so-called "message" them niggas wouldn't be talked about nearly as much as they are or ranked as high as they are on "hip hop head's" lists

Say names nigga

Might not be unpopular...But Mos Def's verse on Thieves in the Night is the GOAT...

Again, maybe not so unpopular (well these days it is, dunno why all the Em hate all of a sudden), but Eminem circa 98-2004 is a top 5, easily.

50 Cent is garbage now and always has been.

Akon (when he was doin' hip-hop) and T-Pain >> Nate Dogg...Easily

2Pac should be no where near anyone's top 5...He's a subpar MC with a few meaningful songs...If he's a top 5, so is GURU (who was wack AF)

This era is the better era than the early 00s if you want to come out with real artistic shit.

We will never see another Jay Z-like run like this again.

Mixtapes should only be made to get on, never to be released often, cause it oversaturate your product and makes your music disposable.

Nas is way ahead of his time lyrically, believe it or not.

Z Ro gets no respect and its a shame that he had to be a victim of industry politics.

Drake is nowhere near as bad an MC as his detractors say...I'm no Drizzy fan, but his verse on Amen was really dope...he can rap when he wants..

Kanye can actually rap...he is definitely more than above average rapper...But niggas don't wanna guy who is a top producer and a top rapper..Niggas are haters

Niggas complain way too much about how there isnt in great music out anymore, but wanna act like they can't search for shit they like and that someone is forcing them to listen to the radio or shit they don't like

Definite shots..

he must be on about 2Pac...or Nas

The rise of southern mainstream hiphop has forever closed the doors for any type of balance on the radio or video airwaves...

Drake fans love to hype up his early mixtapes shit...and always name drop the joints he did with Little Brother, Elhzi etc and 9th wonder...yet those songs were again on some simp female love shit dude always been wack.

I think hip hop right now is in a great spot. i fuck with the vast majority of these young cats. a lot of these dudes can spit. I think the future is promising

Scarface has the GOAT catalog

Insane Clown Posse were always more talented than Eminem and are hip-hop legends

Razakel>Garbaj

Horrorcore is hip-hop

Horrorcore>Mainstream Rap

Mars is one of the best rappers from the bay area

Spice-1 is a criminally slept on storyteller

Flatlinerz should have put out another album

Drake is wack

The Great Milenko is a classic

Esham is the true king of Detroit

Max B and French Montana are wack

Detox will be a classic whenever it comes out

Records sales do not determine if a rapper is good

Beanie Sigel is overrated

Ganxsta N.I.P is underrated

Kid Rock was a decent rapper

Mike E. Clark is one of the best white producers in hip-hop along side Alchemist

King Gordy>Rick Ross

Shaggy 2 Dope could rap circles around 95% of the rappers you guys hype up on this site

Kendrick lamar is overrated

(still fux wit him tho).

Lil wayne was never nice.

T.I. is one of the best rappers to ever come out the south.

Vol.1>>>>>>>>reasonable doubt.

Cole World: The sideline story was a good album.

Wale fell off after more about nothing.

Take Care was a good album (not even a drake fan).
