and i think the recent catcher carousel is an issue also because it takes time to build that comfort zone and rapport between pitcher and catcher

rockies have been awful for the last two months and now holland who was lights out for them earlier in the year has gotten lit up 4 of his last 6 appearances

them and arizona still may get in because they got off to such a hot start but i feel like if the brewers can go .500 or a little better the rest of the year they can jump one of those teams

its still a 3 game lead over milwaukee

their schedule is favorable

18 games against teams totally out of it

potentially 21 as they face miami in the final week

the tigers had an in person preview of the worst case big slugger aging curve with prince fielder and still gave miggy that contract two years before they had to

Check this bullshit...so I got Mets-Astros tickets earlier this year, behind Mets dugout...bout to see my squad play for the first time ever live...the fam all pumped up all year long..

In the last month, we lose Neil Walker, Duda, Jay Bruce..wife says, "Damn who we gonna see then?" Then we trade Granderson (her 2nd favorite) THEN we lose my man Conforto, then Yoenis (her favorite) goes to the 10 day DL..then turns out they shut him down for the season...I was like "well, we still get to see the future..Dominic Smith and Rosario..we like Flores."
