capsule surgery was also a big player in mark prior downfall along with jon danks

chris young the only one to come back from it and he came back throwing like 84 mph

i hope it works out ok for urias

that injury a lot of times is just deterioration of the joint over time — the human arm is just not meant to throw a baseball at 95 mph or with crazy torque thousands of times a year and the alternative is even worse -- if urias is loosely jointed it means that at any point on any given day this could happen again even after the injury is fully healed

i dont know about urias time before the dodgers but dude was babied more than any pitcher that ive ever seen with them so it might be the latter

People out here are devastated. Not a good look . I'm pissed. He was such a hot trade piece last off season too. Coulda flipped him for a big name. I wanted to keep him. Now we gotta hope he can recover. FUCK!!!!

Montero is 0-for-31 throwing out base stealers this season, while runners are 15 of 17 in attempts with Arrieta pitching.

Last year montero threw out like 18% of runners his arm sucks that is why contreras became the full time catcher.
