theres so much variation in relievers from year to year that theo might as well just throw something up and see whats up

they did turn wood who was a failed starter and two scrap heap pickups (cahill, rodney) into go to releivers down the stretch last year

im in withdrawal right now

i hope they dont go emptying what little they have in the farm system to acquire a pitcher even though it is probably the biggest need on the team right now

hahn is going to be tested quite a bit in the next couple of months with trying to balance the farm system with the present

Yea this a slippery slope.I personally don't think the white sox would be wise to trade any significant prospects to try to compete this year cuz they play in weak division and had a great start but that was mainly cuz of their pitching which has regressed in may and that's why they been losing a lot lately.Don't think it would be worth it cuz they still may not win the al

they showed a graphic on mlb tv yesterday that said syndergaard throws his slider harder (around 92 mph) than the 50 something of 100 something mlb pitchers fastballs including the likes of

The cubs let the brewers load the bases 0 outs top of the 12th maddon comes to the mound brings in 5 infielders and has just fowler and heyward in the outfield and the brewers didn't score that was crazy.Then the next inning the cubs load the bases and the brewers walked in the pitcher(wood) for the go ahead run.The game from the 9th to the 13th was wild there was so many chess moves by both teams the whole cubs roster was used

Cubs in frisco this weekend,then go to st louis for 3 then have the phillies and dodgers.Cubs struggle with bad/average teams padres,rockies and brewers all won the series

I think the phillies wit that young pitching gonna be a test & I don't like how the cubs played in milwaukee all the plate discipline was lost they was swinging at stupid shit.The point is this stretch gonna be a test
