I don't trust richard or wood the cubs need a shutdown lefty out the bullpen thats a weakness that can get exposed neither should be your primary lefties in high leverage situations.If the yankees continue to suck chapman or miller could be 2 trade deadline targets

I was talking about this the other day. I can see Miller traded but it would shock me if Chapman was bcuz if they did if you add in the suspension and the early trade of Chapman by the Yanks, they would basically be giving the Reds 4 prospects for free.(Cotham, Davis, Jagielo and Renda). Plus Girardi has gone on record saying Chapman will be the closer. I think Miller is outta there.

No doubt but having an elite closer on a trash team is a waste and chapman is a free agent this winter so they could lose him for nothing,and the yankees suck that's an old team with declining players.As mediocre as the al is this year I'd be shocked if the yankees were any good + theo could lace them wit some very good prospects to recoup whatever they sent out.

Already got a 4 game lead in the NL central I want it to be 6-7 by the end of april

It's still early bro. Them 6-7 game leads shrink quick

Last year the mets won 12 in a row in April and had an 8 game lead on Washington at the beginning of May. Bout time July came around we was like 41/2 games back.

It's a long season homie. St. Louis & Pittsburgh ain't going away easy.

The same pirates the cubs swept in pittsburgh last week and the cards who are now 9 games back aren't going anywhere lolll

velocity from the windup was 88-89 with a couple touching 91, his curveball was said to be sharp and the changeup was working too

hopefully not the white sox who are rumored to be interested -- the narrative seems to be that signing him would be a good thing and i dont know why -- he hasnt had an era under 4 the last 4 seasons i think these people are just fixated on the name and dont realize he not the same pitcher

baseball one of those sports where you get paid for what youve done especially if youre good early

teams get to skate through the first 3 years and then arbitration for the next few get you at least into the same state as market value and then you get your fa shot where teams hope your next 4-7 years are as good as those earlier ones
