one of my favorite baseball moments was making the pilgrimage from the south side to the north side for the first time

i remember walking through a neighborhood that looked just like any other big city neighborhood, when all of a sudden, right in the middle of this neighborhood

there was this big ass stadium

its just amazing to me how it was placed right in the middle there

i couldnt imagine living across or anywhere near wrigley for the 6 months that baseball is being played though

mets offense missing

if found

please send to citi field IMMEDIATELY

theyve played cespedes in center like 5 games already

something tells me thats not a recipe for run prevention

Yea it's on the corner like a neighborhood bodega. You got apt's on one side and a stadium across the street it's definitely unique

You peep that new clubhouse/locker room? It look like a sports bar/lounge I'd be in there all day 2nd biggest clubhouse in the league

that video was cool

it definitely frees wrigley of their well earned reputation of being run down and crappy

old clubhouse

new clubhouse

i couldnt believe they found that much room but i ehard its adjacent to wrigley, underground, connected to dugout via tunnel

cartel shit

1550x872

the entrance itself half the size of the old clubhouse

still have 3 more years worth of renovations coming too

wrigley is going to look beautiful on the outside when its all over with

just the other day the padres couldnt score

they now have more runs than any team in the nl east or al central

wtf

New clubhouse, new training facilities, bigger bathrooms, jumbotron.open plaza, hotel etc all that.Shouts to tom ricketts this is what it's like to have a proactive owner who actually cares about the team instead of just profits.

When the cubs start this patriots/spurs/A's & steelers from the 70's dynasty run All that cubs cursed bullshit will fade to bolivia. It was generations of terrible ownership, management, scouting, drafting and coaching.Cubs on point in all these categories now.

rickets buying up everything

they already bulldozed the mcdonalds that was out there

smh @ people who think wrigley was unique and special but that its just gonna be another ballpark now -- i dont know how people can hate all the changes they are making to wrigley, its going to make it a more enjoyable fan experience -- i understand the history of the park and all that but it was turning into quite the shithole

a few updates to modernize the place into the new age is good for everybody

*Dmx voice* Here we go agaaaaiinnn *Dmx voice*

Lackey sucks.Bases loaded no outs he got out of it just giving up a run but that's 2 starts where his pitches were getting squared up
