Yea I was hyped.I think the cubs drew 7-8 walks they just couldn't get that knock until heyward and russell came through

That was dope how rizzo played castros walk up music his 1st ab too, baez hit a hr and contreras went 4-5 last night.If grandpa ross or montero get injured or contreras keeps tearing up the minors he's gonna be up this summer and that will make the cubs even better defensively

you can just tell rizzo a great leader, he was there with shwarber the whole time when he got hurt too -- little things like that matter and the silver lining to his injury is eventually seeing the cubs future catcher sooner than expected (as long as hes ready no need to rush him)

watching games sometimes you just know when a loss is coming -- yesterday felt like one of them and this is with knowing that the days of old cubs games where you would never expect them to come back are over -- i honestly thought the game was over as they were being no hit through 6 and even a little when braynt left the runner in 3rd in the bottom of the 7th

but last night game showed there really isnt a game this team is out of

The only game they lost was cuz joe maddon chose to pitch to goldschmidt up 2-1 in the 8th if he pitched around him like he should of they most likely would of preserved the lead.Instead the game was tied and the dbacks won in their last ab.

I love zobrists ab's and how he draws walks but he's not a better option defensively at 2b than baez.I rather see baez more at 2b cuz russell and baez are a better dp combo and baez has way more range

yeah ive noticed that too i think it was the knee issues he had last eyar that fucked his range up

in a must win it might be better to move him to 3rd and have bryant at LF

dexter has been pretty hot and rizzo had a big 6 rbi game but the cubs are winning as a team
