god damn it i quit

this season is wasted

the white sox led in the ninth inning 3-0

chris sale had gone 8 and gave up 1 hit

they lost 4-3

im not even mad at how bad things have turned this year given how the roster was built -- it had to be another perfect storm for them to be realistically successful -- what im mad about is how this organization is going to basically try the exact same thing again next year -- which weve seen not work for time and time again -- not changing their approach to building a team is whats so frustrating

like what the hell

seriously what the hell

if im hahn im telling the bosses they need to either commit to a full tear down and set up for a big window in three or four years or be prepared to spend A LOT of money and keep hoping something finally pans out -- with the players they have to trade they could have the top farm system in the league overnight -- yeah the team would suck and nobody would come out to see but it wouldnt really be a difference from whats happening right now

I was tellin this white sox fan at work they should trade sale, abreu, eaton and robertson.Sale alone could get a ridiculous haul that could lace the farm. They'll probably keep him and make more band aid signings instead and try to compete and hold on to sale too long. Just like the bulls should of traded jimmy instead of signing wade and rondo.Watch the white sox sign fowler or cespedes this winter

uic knows

such a great view

white sox really blew it by not giving a park a skyline view and they didnt because of the projects to the north when they built new

extremely short sighted

which is what i have come to expect from this organization

reinsdorf 80 years old

bulls/white sox aint rebuilding until hes gone

so we might as well get used to running on a wheel of mediocrity

Unless his son does a rocky wirtz type of takeover I don't see it.Cuz I think his son runs the bulls now he's an extension of his pops

It's sad how both franchises are run similar

Man Idk what these crackas are waiting for

Trade Miller

Trade Chapman

Trade Beltran

Dump Ellsbury on a team like the A's

Just do something already

These simpleton ass crackas in the Yankee front office still believe they can contend and Idk what team they watching.

Vogelbach is schwarber 2.0 I honestly would hate to lose duke but he's a 1b/DH.Yankees and cubs been talking for weeks. The yankees want schwarber for miller and that aint happenin(miller would take too much to get) but chapman is possible since he's a rental cubs probably gonna have to come off vogelbach and canderlario for chapman if that trade happens.Which would be a come up for the yankees

The mets lost monday doggie. These front runnin mets fans only show up when they beat the cubs. They're nowhere to be found when the nationals be sonnin them or when they got swept by the braves :/

Bases loaded no outs vs familia again and the cubs can't get a run

that had to be tough to watch because literally the same thing that happened in ny

you would think they would have learned

bases loaded and the guy is struggling to throw a strike and szczur steps up and swings at the first pitch in the dirt and bryant follows on a 1-0 pitch with the same approach

Yea I was pissed last night.Thank god for loud cuz I was ready to break some shit. Not just the szcur and bryant ab's but the blunder earlier when russells dumb ass didn't go to 3rd when heyward got caught in the run down.Russell base running iq low af

it what it is but it was definitely deja vu from new york and the cubs have lost several games like that @marlins,braves,mets twice 9th inning man on 2nd or 3rd less than 2 outs and can't even make productive contact. These situations is when they miss schwarber the most, good news is arrieta pitched great & fowler probably back friday

marlins won again in extra innings to stay a game ahead of the mets for that 2nd wc spot

they could be a dangerous team now that stanton is back doing his thing -- they have a solid lineup -- they lead the nl in average but they could use a little more pop -- the hr totals should improve with stanton back on track and bour coming back soon though -- theyll also get dee gordon back from suspension next week -- not sure what kind of production theyll get out of him but he is the reigning nl batting champion (he wouldnt be eligible for postseason play should the marlins make it)

the bullpen is a strength with rodney (whos having one of those years that show how random bullpen arms can be) and ramos anchoring the 8th and 9th innings

they have a bonafide ace in fernandez

if they can swing a trade for one more quality starter then theyll be in pretty good shape

the back end of the rotation is shit

i heard on the radio the cubs havent won a game in which theyve trailed after the 6th inning since may

absolute dog shit hitting with runners on since like june

but yeah on the positive side arrieta only threw 85 pitches over 7 innings with 8 Ks

thats more of the ace than seen in the past month

and this dude fowler just might be the mvp of the team at least for now while this team ages and gets a little more experience

Just got a feeling somethin about to go down(trade) the comments theo and hoyer been makin seems like it's inevitable I mean a trade that will catch people off guard.Like for a starter like moore or orodizzi AND a lefty bullpen cat.

The cubs almost got drew pomeranz but the padres wanted baez so they said no deal.

As long as eloy jimenez, ian happ(switch hitting dustin pedroia) or dylan cease don't get traded I'm good.I think torres might be get moved and possibly soler this winter.

im sure the cubs got some strong offers for soler in the offseason but right now they would not get much in return without adding some solid prospects to a deal (i think)

a deal built around soler, vogelbach and/or torres for miller or chapman would be something id have no problem with

soler potential is high but he has not been able to stay healthy and he has not been able to produce consistently at the big league level and cubs are already short on open positions in the corner OF especially if contreras and baez keep forcing maddons hand as they have done so far this year

For chapman?!? hell no not without an extension. That's a lot to give up for miller too I don't know that's more like a package for a younger cost controlled starting pitcher imo.Soler is injury prone he's been hurt every year he's been playin since the minors but I remember how he was locked in during that cardinals series in the playoffs. But it is crowded out there now cuz of contreras playin lf when he doesnt catch and zobrist done hit a wall he needs to rest more he 35 let baez play more 2nd.

What does us losing on Monday have to do with if we won today it woulda been 3 series in a row dumbass, I wasn't talking about games.. But we lost so it don't matter now. Hopefully we can get healthy enough to get in the wild card playoff. Only reason I post when we beat the Cubs to fuck with the homie Mikey but obviously some of y'all still aggy about what we did to y'all in the playoffs. It's ok
