That's more like it, Trump

After Super Tuesday, Trump will probably be the last man standing, CNN says Trump is way ahead in 8 of the next 11 states. Hilary, from what I'm seeing in the polls, will probably lock up the Dem nomination by then too. March 1st will be a very interesting day. Hilary vs Trump will probably be the dirtiest campaign in modern history.

Are you trying to say a Republican will beat Hillary this year? If so, then Trump will be the next president, Rubio doesn't have a real shot anymore. I think a Trump presidency would bankrupt the nation further (his tax policies are terrible), so I understand why you feel the way you do lol

Most likely, I'll be voting 3rd party as well. I'm still listening to what Bernie is saying

you see Trump won evangelicals in South Carolina...it's a wrap. He's getting the nomination

HE very well could get the nomination now it's not looking good for america no matter who wins this election

I can live with Hilary tho but not sanders or trump especially sanders we should be going into a recession any day now and if that crazy socialist Jew becomes president the american economic be destroyed.

i'm actually just trying to say "fuck Hillary" but i still think Rubio has a real shot. but more to the point, i guess, is that in a general election, a Republican could definitely beat Hillary.

Rubio has a shot? In what universe lol, he hasn't won a state yet and Trump is clobbering him in his own state according to 2 different polls.

I do agree a Republican has a great chance of being president this year, especially if Hillary gets the nomination.

This could be bullshit but...........
http://www.syracuse.com/politics/in...rump_president_prediction_suny_professor.html

Donald Trump will be president, SUNY professor predicts with 97 percent certainty

Helmut Norpoth, a political science professor at Stony Brook University, says that his statistical model predicted Donald Trump will win the election if he's the Republican nominee. The billionaire businessman has a 97 percent chance of beating Hillary Clinton in the general election and a 99 percent chance of beating Bernie Sanders, according to Norpoth.

The Statesman reports Norpoth uses statistics from candidates' performances in their party's primary and patterns in the electoral cycle to forecast national election results. The equation correctly predicted Bill Clinton's victory in 1996, George W. Bush in 2004, and Barack Obama in 2012.

In fact, Norpoth's model has correctly predicted the outcome of every presidential election since 1912 except one, according to the Daily Mail.

Because the economy goes into recession every couple of years and it's about time for the next one and when you look into certain global events the writing is on the wall.

well, it does require you to look at a more in-depth concept than saying "TRUMP IS LEADING IN FL"

Trump is also ahead in every state coming up in Super Tuesday (tmw) minus Texas, according to all the major polls. Super Tuesday will be the wake for Marco Rubio, March 15th the funeral.

Super Tuesday has about 800 delegates from 12 states I believe, and every news channel I've watched says Trump will take the vast majority of them. I give Rubio credit for campaigning harder now, he's funnier then I've ever seen him, but it's too little, too late. Only exception is if Trump gets a heart attack or something.

we should probably at least have the voting first

Democratic turnout has been very low this year compared to Republicans.....anyone have any theories on why that is?
it's not really very surprising that Clinton's "YOU FUCKING OWE ME" campaign doesn't drive people the same way as Obama's, and Americans don't like to vote anyway

I doubt Marco will make up for lost ground. Trump slipped answering the KKK and David Duke question, but since he disavowed their support, I expect him to cruise to victory in most, if not all the states tmw. For all we know, him slipping on the question might have helped him with some whites.

And while Americans don't like to vote, many conservatives these past four years definitely do, Republicans have the House and the Senate. If Hillary doesn't attack Trump properly, they're gonna have the White House too.

i don't think the kind of people who object to Trump's KKK answer are going to be swayed by his disavowal.

i think that's going to be more about voter turnout.

Did you see how badly Rubio got blown out? He's 1-13 now lol......Cruz has the only shot of stopping Trump now, and even that is not realistic. Trump has this in the bag now.

well, we're talking delegates not primary wins in this scenario, which is still bad for Rubio:
Donald Trump’s Super Tuesday delegate haul was no blowout. He won 254 delegates, Ted Cruz won 217, and Marco Rubio took in 97.
...but not in the bag for Trump:
Trump’s Super Tuesday performance was impressive, and no GOP candidate can claim he has nearly as plausible a path to 1,237 delegates as Trump. However, Super Tuesday’s results suggest a strategic shift: The effort to stop Trump may no longer call for consolidation around one alternative; it’s now a multifront war led by multiple candidates and disparate factions of the party with the singular aim of preventing Trump from winning 1,237 delegates.

Well there's still more states left, and based on polls, March 15th is gonna be another big night for Trump. Cruz has a tiny shot but I don't see how the Republican delegates can just defy the will of their own base, especially at convention time. If they choose Cruz for whatever reason, despite Trump clobbering everyone with overall delegates, then many Republicans will stay home. I think most of the losers of the campaign will eventually unite around Trump anyway.

One way or the other, Rubio is totally finished. He should have done better, especially after his decent performance in the last debate.

to be entirely fair, while this is probably how you'd rank the probabilities now, Rubio isn't FINISHED and Cruz has a legit shot. i don't know that a brokered convention is going to happen (or be good) but it's definitely looking... dramatic.
