I like it the more I listen to it. Everytime I listen to it I find a new gem in the lyrics. I'm not mad at certain cats running the radio, but it's a bummer Face isn't because there's at least 3 or 4 radio hits on this album. A radio push certainly couldn't hurt his pockets

Niggas like to put rappers in there top 5 on the internet but won't press play on the music for real. Cats in this thread listen to it but a majority of people that call Scarface the king of the south probably can't recite 3 full Face verses.

I haven't listened to this jawn yet. I want to actually purchase it.

However I listened to The Untouchable just last Tuesday and personally I like Face as a rapper because he's one of them niggas that don't follow trends or gives a fuck about the industry

His subject matter deep, he's lyrically efficient and he's heavily respected in the game (your favourite rapper is probably a fan) .. his music not being relevant or on a short radar span for some rap fans might be a generational thing

I don't think you should generalise though

I wasn't speaking on people like you but a lot of rap fans out there who have default rappers they throw out to look a certain way. Young niggas like to throw out Face as a GOAT and haven't listened to albums, lived through his time to understand it or feel it or even know what he's really about it. Face is out here riding off legacy because he's not staying relevant by promoting and constantly connecting with a wider demographic than "the niggas who been holding me down".

Fair point about generalizing though.
