Unbelievable album. I only skip "Fuck You too" and that's because, of the chorus. Otherwise, I think face did an immaculate job of bridging the gap with today's sound and Hip Hop's boom bap. Also, Face's ability to bring different tracks to life through his voice\lyrics was spot on.

I haven't listened to an album better than this in sometime. There are albums I like but nothing I think is as diverse and cohesive.

Albums like this are rough on the ears of those, programmed for drill\trap music or auto-tune, high pitched, goofy voices on records.

Deeply Rooted is a great album, fortunately we have had a few dope albums this year. Face only took a backseat cuz Drake and Future dropped, next The Game, T.I. and Drake. Might even see a Weezy album before the year over.

We all know face been in this for 20+ so, him appealing to the masses is not likely.

However, if you listen to good music this, cannot be classified as anything other then that. Within the genre of Hip Hop this is clearly one of if, not the best piece of work this year.

Face has never been a big mainstream artist. I think people are lost in that. Back in the G you didn't have an ADHD society where there was always something new, so releases weren't as frequent, and artists got a little more time for second singles and what not. But even back then, face always floated, he never really soared. Now, with everything coming so fast, and him not catering to a young crowd which is predominately what hip hop's fanbase is comprised of, he will come and go.

I really respect the fact that he always stays true to himself, and for that, his albums are in constant rotation because i'm a grown man, with grown man problems, and his music has been grown from the jump.

My responses had nothing to do with the quality of the album. I never listened to it. I was addressing why it's not getting attention, specifically with fake fans. I said "I'm sure it's solid."

what I like most about this album is Face back to using his voice as an instrument....like he puts that deep gravely sound in his voice on mental exorcism like he's a preaching to you bout some real shit....then he switches it up again on dope man pushing
