When's hyrule warriors dropping?

And do you y'all think they ever/should release a full out console Pokemon game? Like have all the regions and shit.

Hyrule Warriors is supposed to drop in a couple of weeks.

You will never see a mainline Pokemon game on a home console. Remember that Nintendo doesn't own the IP 100% so they have to be in agreement with their partners regarding Pokemon.

The reason we haven't really seen another attempt at something like that since the Gamecube is because Gamefreak and The Pokemon Company (which is 2/3 of the IP owners) feel that it's a series that only makes sense on portables by it's nature. With the trading of creatures and especially competing against random challengers anywhere you may be which gets limited when you restrict it to the internet and the living room. Judging by the lackluster response to their Gamecube experiments when they once tried to do that their theory may be right.

Damn. I didn't know Nintendo didn't own all of the Pokemon rights. What GameCube game was it that they made?

I'd think it's do good if they really went all out and put that Nintendo quality behind it. Same format release two games where you would need to buy both or trade with the other to get all Pokemon.

yeah i didnt know that they shared ownership either.

On that topic, Im surprised nintendo or sony or even ms havent bought out the Dragonball z franchise.

See @MorganFreemanKing's post. They actually sold over a million each but compared to the 5 million plus sales of the mainline games it was seen as lackluster. Didn't help both games case that they had mixed reception from reviewers and gamers either.

Theoretically it sounds good but again it's pretty much appealing to the non-Pokemon audience when they do that and that's an audience that doesn't exactly flock to the IP. For better or worse the Pokemon fanbase has been greatly conditioned to accept the handheld format as the only viable format for the mainline titles for almost 20 years now.

For that reason I think the only Pokemon game you will see on Wii U would be a port of that Tekken and Pokemon mash up that Nintendo and Namco recently announced or any other spin off.

This Bayonetta 2 shit is gonna be dope

This, MK8 & Smash make 3 day one buys for the Wii U this year & I almost never pay full price for games.

Next Year will be the same assuming no delays. (X, Zelda, Star & Fox)

Finally, after 700 lives lost, I beat champions road with peach last night. I can almost call Mario 3D world my bitch now, just got to beat the game with every character to fully complete the game.

I know everyone's waiting for smash bros to get the wii u, I suggest getting it first for 3D world shit was a goat play through and for a Mario game actually difficult.

I got a Wii U.

What games do I need?

I think I'll get Mario Cart and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.

Are old Wiimotes and old Wii games compatible?

They made Pokemon Colosseum and Pokemon XD. I personally wasn't a huge fan of the two.
