IF that's the case why do you get mad when people compare J.Cole to Drake because they obviously share the same topics in their music down to the awful singing .

I get mad when people compare him to Drake? lol Show me a direct quote when i've ever gotten mad. They don't share the same topic or styles, two totally different approaches to making music.

Drake will make a Marvins Room about a jealous ex boyfriend who is overly emotional, J Cole will make a song about fucking the boyfriends girl. lmfao

But the majority of Cole's music isn't about females. There's nothing wrong with Drizzy Drake-ing, if you're Drizzy Drake. If this and "Work Out" were the only two Cole songs I'd ever heard, there's now way I'd buy the album. No straight man wants to buy an album full of simping

what single are people expectin from j.cole? When he put out "Who Dat?", people were sayin it's too street, but when he put out Work Out, people were sayin that it waas too commercial. What else is he suppose to do?

homie the game ain't nowhere near the same as when DMX came on the scene. look how far back you had to go to find a example. I wish the game was set up so you could drop some real shit but it just isn't. a few guys will hit with something that isn't a club track, but overall it's not gonna happen.

and i like the song we just gonna have a difference of opinion their.

i don't give him a pass for anything wack. i thought workout and disgusting were wack.

I understand your feelings on this, cool but there is tonne of artist who rely on making good music first and does not need to be catered to a female audience (blatantly)

game - how we do & hate it or love it

50s old shit

infact most new dudes come with a hit that is not catered to anyone but its a statement of who they are and what they are repping like he tried to do with 'who dat'

but i respect your views, and i would rather he succeds than bigt sean because he seems like a nicer human being.

you can't sacrifice one fanbase for another , one song for the ladies is cool but when your second is for ladies and ya third is produced by Alex Da Kid then you got some problems . He making his steps to selling out and eventually falling off. Your Core fans are your real fans never forget that.

"Work Out" wasn't lauded for being too commercial. It was criticized for being a bad song. I HATE the radio but:

6"7, "Hustle Hard", All the Chris Brown songs, "I'm On One">>>> "Work Out"

Song is just wack juice.

I don't think he should worry about makin a hit yet. i think he should just worry about makin good music, and everything will come to him. The best songs are made without trying to hard.

you have made a whole thread dedicated to how much you dislike comparisons of different artists . Drake and J.Cole are very similar . Who was featured on Drake's first big

hit ? See what i'm saying.
