There were already gay rappers. They just kept it to themselves and didn't make tracks about their sexual excapades or preference. Some guys on here need to grow up IMO.

I don't care about a rapper's sexuality. I'll acknowledge the skill if he comes correct. Take Camp Lo. I liked Camp Lo back in the mid 90ties. I didn't like the stuff they released after Uptown Saturday Night though but these n*ggas could spit. What they did behind closed doors didn't bother me. Someone mentioned Guru. While I always felt he was monotone and boring and didn't like his flow he did release some dope cuts.

Now Baby I never liked. He been rapping since the late 90ties and he hasn't improved much since then. Like he's just talking, mentioning namebrand stuff and boasting about material possesions. Every bar got a "n*gga" in it. Even he himself knows it because he's like "I'm not a rapper but a game spitter" or some BS like that. I liked some of his tracks but mainly because of the features and production.

I could go on but you catch my drift.

Wait, so Camp Lo are gay? Never heard of that. Guru haven't been proven to be gay tho. That stuff came when he passed away based on rumors and Solar, but we don't know. Same with Baby really. I know the Wayne thing but still.

So...Haven't seem one "Talib a fag" post yet...Interesting...I thought simply speaking out about their rights and their place in the culture made you a pipe puppet....

The aim of the post wasn't really to out rappers, but more to emphasise how to me skills should be the determining factor. Camp Lo during mid 90ties was dope to me despite the rumors. Baby has always been wack to me. Ion care what a rapper or any grown man for that matter does behind closed doors. After a certain age you look silly if you dismiss people solely on their sexuality. That's why I said some people needed to grow up.

I remember back when Coolie High dropped heads were saying Camp Lo was sweet. It didn't stop me from messing with their music. We all know what happened with Solar after Guru passed. That sh*t was beyond suspect, but it shouldn't tarnish his legacy IMO. Baby been kissing n*ggas in the mouths, spat lines like "I like to f*ck 'em in the a*s while he beat up the p*ssy" and there's footage of him getting groupie n*ggas on stage when Juvie and them pulled girls on stage. What else you want him to do?

the gay agenda is being pushed on the black community to promote population control.

If all u niggaz turn gay then who's gonna make the babies?

let alone who's gonna raise the babies because you have that going on already with fatherless children

almost like someone pleading to get every pet spade and neutered.

homo's cut off their bloodline. they can adopt or go to a lab or even be on the d.L. to get a kid but the natural order of human life is basic.

If it was Kanye, ASAP or one of them swag niggas, they'd have been called 'fags' many times here

You either reject homosexuality 100% or you accept it. I don't give a fuck how skilled a faggot is i am not supporting his music, This music is uniquely connected to a culture and a whole way of thinking if you accept homosexuality into the music it will lead to acceptance in the mind.

I aint no bigot... however I'd likely treat a gay rapper like most female rappers... I can acknowledge their skill, but i cant relate to their music enough to support them by buying their albums...

I can almost guarantee you have listened to a gay artist and liked their music (n/h). It's just that you didn't know they were gay because they kept it to themselves. If you liked a track or artist, would you stop liking it after you found out the artist was gay?

You wacked my post which is perfectly fine with me, but even you gotta admit the whole Guru and Solar situation was suspect.

So some of ya'll saying if some faggot rapper start talking bout licking another dude up it's Ok cause he lyrically got skill?

Ya'll gay

If don't know that they are gay and they don't state themselves to be gay then for all practical purposes they are not gay to me. I only go off what i know what i don't know is unimportant. I would stop supporting the music of a homosexual in hip-hop because i see the bigger picture. I wacked your post because it was not strong enough. where do you stand do you support this gay shit or not or do you not care.

Most of the times these guys hating on gays are either real young & immature, insecure about their own sexuality or they're dusty n*ggas messing with fat hoodrats. Just something I noticed lol...

No, read more carefully. I said Ion care what a rapper's sexual orientation is since what they do behind closed doors is none of my concern. I got my own life to worry about. If they started rapping about gay sh*t I wouldn't feel nor support it lol. Quote me or anyone else saying that.

Take Luther Vandross. He was one of the best r & b singers in his generation. I never cared for his sexual preference TBH.

luther didn't write his own music and if he did it was rare.

Hip Hop was a masculine expression born out of the issues that plagued the black community in the late 60's.

since gay rights and black peoples rights are now lumped up in the same category (which is asinine, imagine if people who smoked cigarettes where marginalized in some form due to the fact they smoke, that would be In line with what sometimes happens to gay people, but being black is related to a deep history, culture, art, of great people)

being gay like choosing to smoke cigarettes is a personal preference.

no way should that be lumped up with the black fight against white supremacy.

shame on a nigga.

There's no such thing as "turning" gay. Either a nigga gay or he isn't.

There's no better way to say it than to say no matter how good or skilled a rapper is, no matter how dope his songs or how many records he sells it won't be enough to make cats who don't want to have sex with men start to.

It's nonsense.
