Is Rick Ross responding to shots from Young Jeezy on, “Death Before Dishonor,” with, “Summer’s Mine”? Although Young Jeezy was born in South Carolina, who else could he be talking about?

Update: There is a Cleveland South Carolina

Even on those really commercial Biggie tracks he was still being lyrical. It's only in this era that lyricism on party songs cant go hand in hand.

Its a new era, people want to hear music that is appeals to the ear, sounds good in your ride, and gets the girls giddy.

You can be the most lyrical emcee in the world, but if you lack mic-presence and charisma on the mic alot of people wont feel you.
There are alot of intangibles that come with emceeing and people prefer different emcees based on personal preference.

As far as enunciation goes Rozay is second to none, just like Jeezy with the ad-libs a few years back.

I haven't listened to this but how is this supposed to be about Jeezy with those lyrics?

I'm pretty sure Ross isn't what Jeezy wants to be as Jeezy has sold twice as many albums as Ross, makes more money than Ross, and I'm sure can afford to drive whatever Ross is driving.

Or is this one of those wack ass Ross disses that you niggas hype up to be impressive when it's really lyrically subpar?

I co-sign this statement to the fullest.

If any other rapper would have spit the same exact lyrics, yall niggas would not be pole jocking...NH
