Honestly Beez In The Trap was one of the best songs I've heard in years. It was well produced, meaning it had a hot beat but also the way she (and 2 Chainz) said her verse. Not just the lyrics but the way she said it.

Swimming Pools, and not just of 2012. Let me explain to you niggas why.

Kendrick managed to push a single, admissible in the club AND radio, with conscious double meaning content / lyrics, AND a catchy hook. The nigga covered all his bases with this cut, and debuted mainstream without selling out. It was literally the most perfectly executed debut / single in the past 5-10 years of Hip-Hop history. That is my honest opinion.

Niggas are constantly acting like I'm hard on these artists for expecting bars and content in my club bangers. Like it's to much to ask for a complete package with little to no gimmicks in these singles.

Kendrick set the bar with this shit.

Mercy was cool, but it didn't have the same social commentary as Swimming Pools.

Daughters was conscious as hell, but had no place in the club.

New God Flow was great, but it also lacked the serious social commentary, and was not as club worth. It was definitely a spitter's track though (more so then Swimming Pools)
