Fuck a vega

hes going to be a lot harder to deal with without focus attacks smh. especially for up close fighters.

Yea they need to be careful with him chun li and dhalsim, without focus they can be really difficult to deal with

lol Ya'll act like those characters weren't in SF before focus attacks existed.

Lol and they were really good borderline too good in the games without focus

SF2 vega and alpha 3 vega was top

Sim top in SF2 and Alpha 3

Vega isn't a charge character anymore

the lengths theyre willing to go to make this game more accessible is gettin interesting. this is something that was a trademark of SF2. hopefully they dont simplify to the point of taking away from what made SF a unique trailblazer with every new incarnation.

Exactly all this oversimplifying is what made SF x tekken fail.

SF should reward people that put in the work practicing the game. Pulling off a dope combo should give you a feeling of accomplishment in a real.match

But I understand them having to make the game more accessible to new and casual players, they're the ones that spend the money

Oversimplifying isn't even close to why SFxT failed. It was doomed from the start after the DLC and gems fiascos. People are exaggerating the "oversimplification" they are doing in SFV. All they are doing is lowering some of the execution barriers so that things like mind games and fundamentals become more prominent in determining who wins and loses. Besides, it's not like they are putting auto combos or something in the game. They are just tweaking some inputs. Honestly, I don't even think removing charge characters is even all that friendly to casuals. You guys are forgetting that a lot of casuals can't even do QCF type motions. Those people actually like charge characters.

as someone who put many people on to the game due to living next to one of the very few arcades left that imported the actual cabinets, my experience differs on that. buffering basic movements to pull off charge moves in an instant, and doing the ultra combos for charge characters period, for example chun li and vega's, was a couple of the biggest complaints my friends had.

but from a corporate level, i certainly understand why they did that. but its a fine line. nothing but idle speculation anyways.
