There are billions upon billions of planets. Just out of sheer statistical probability, millions of them are going to have enough atomic material (hydrogen and carbon, extremely common stuff) to form the bonds that are the chemical basis of DNA. Earth is a planet like this.

Horrible example b. The difference is I can take that science book, do experiments, and either prove or disprove what that book says is true. And on top of that, all that information is peer reviewed by hundreds of thousands of other scientists who take that same information, do their own experiments,and prove/disprove it to be true. When it comes to books of faith (bible, torah, koron, book of mormon, dianetics) you can't do that. You can't do an experiment to prove/disprove that God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th. You can't do any experiments to prove/disprove that the sun is actually Rah and the moon is Set. You can't run experiments to prove that when lightning strikes, zeus is casting down thunderbolts from the sky. That's the difference between faith and science. That's why if I say I believe a break dancing 8 legged turtle is the master of the universe, I don't expect you to be like "That's a perfectly valid explanation of the origin of the universe."
