I mean its all speculation I admit, but Chance's father is deputy chief of staff to the mayor. He's right under the Rahm and reports directly to him. Its like white privilege, him and his fam is directly benefiting off the mayor in some way whether he likes it, notices it, or not.

Theres a lot of shit rahm has been called out for lately, not sure I've heard a peep outta chance, especially with the Laquan McDonald cover up. But he comes out and voices his opinion against a shit movie. Do u really think he'll come out and criticize the mayor who pays his father a good salary and benefits?

Also I remember Chance is tryin to put together some kinda youth organization, I'm sure he will be tryin to get the mayor's backing, even if just through his father. Cant really blame Chance especially if hes in a position to do some good for the community. But it doesn't take away from what spike said.

Still I think chance is right by saying the movie is exploitative. Rhymefest was sayin some real shit too.
