I liked tara for a minute, then I hated her ass. Now that she's dead and analyzing her character objectively, I realize she was a down ass bitch. A good wife. Yall niggas trippin saying her death was deserved.

You guys that keep saying "Tara knew what life she was getting into" are stupid, and clearly don't remember the events that transpired throughout the show.

Tara never thought she was going to be in a life of nothing but Samcro. She thought her and Jax were going to live a normal life.

At the beginning of season four right after they get married they had a serious talk about the future. Jax said as soon as Clay stepped down, and he saved enough money, he would leave Samcro and they'd move out of Charming and live a normal life.

So Tara stayed involved with Jax UNDER THE ASSUMPTION that they'd be done with Samcro in a reasonable time.

Then a whole bunch of crazy shit happens (child kidnapped, she's forced to kill a bitch, beat up her boss etc...) and her hand gets fucked up, effectively ruining her career advancement. Then the shit with the undercover CIA agents forced Jax to stick with Samcro. At this point Tara already got the two kids and now she's like damn, we are never gonna leave this place.... this nigga lied.

THEN she gets the murder charge put on her, when all she was trying to do was, yet again, help the club.

She had pretty much been a perfect example of a ride or die up to that point. But her entire life was about to be ruined.

It wasn't until ALL OF THAT that she's like, well fuck it, my life's done, but I don't want my boys to live this life. And EVERY SINGLE ACTION of hers from that point forward was for the betterment of her children's future, regardless of who was in the way or who got hurt.

Is that not Jax's exact motivation for going legit?

Isn't that mindset what Jax damn near said verbatim in the narration at the beginning of the episode?

Anyways... That's when she devised the plan to ultimately have the kids go to wendy. (Who was living life straight). She didn't want to give the kids to Jax because she knew he'd never leave Samcro. Obviously not Gemma crazy ass. Who else is an option? Fuckin hop-skip-and-a-jump-from-death Unser? You can argue about her methods (having pity on Gemma being set-up is LAUGHABLE after all the shit Gemma did) but you can't argue with her reasoning.

I could see how niggas would be upset if she actually ratted on the club and got all them niggas sent to jail. Which she probably would have done eventually. But even then, that action is fueled by the mindset of: my boys life >>>> my life & the club's life

Which is exactly what Id expect from any mother.

the thing that bothers me about this show is that everyone from Jax to Tara to Gemma all use those kids as motivation for doing whatever they do yet none of them really give 2 shits about those boys. Unser Babysitting, INC... spent more time with those kids than any of them.
