I think the whole Pope assassination was handled a little poorly. Way too many things had to go right for that to go down the way it did. It would have been more believable if Partlow was in on it. This is the first time I've seen the 2nd not being there with Pope, and its THIS moment he isnt there??

Jax playing chess while errybody else playing checkers as usual. Clay didnt know what hit him, the sheriff got what he wanted fucking gift wrapped, and even though its a fucked up situation he got what he wanted with Tara. She and the boys aint going anywhere.

Nero needs to buy that farm and get out, I can see him getting popped soon. He's WAY to moral a dude to be living this long in this "world".

I still dont get 2 things

1) what did Bobby do against the club?

2) how did Nero murk one of his own dudes IN HIS HOUSE and not receive any backlash

also

pope's killing was jus silly.

Jax popped like 5 dudes,James Bond/Wesley Snipes style.

A room full of dudes who are mostly packing heat didnt even draw a weapon.

ANDDDDDD,

Pope's 2nd jus happened to not be there

smh,

this is True Blood level lapse of writing

Tig with the dogs is a little atypical of some sociopaths. Sociopaths lack any form of empathy, some lack empathy for all life (the ones that start of killing small animals and then move on to humans) and the ones like Tig who because of the environment and people they have grown up with see that human life aint worth shit, but animals who are truly innocent and dont have the capacity for evil are held in very high regard. They represent a release from the garbage they see everyday.

Let's not forget the first guy that Jax killed in the trailer. What was his purpose. He was staked out by the door, I'm guessing to keep an eye on the entrance yet he had his back to it the whole time. That was just dumb. Come on man. When the number 2 put all those lines together and all Jax could say was "I'm not Pope I'm just a mechanic" dude should have put a hit out on Jax right then and there.

naw i think unser gonna fuck around and still be kicking old and tough no matter how many different folks done shitted on him.

Clay gonna get some protection when he gets to prison, but yeah he's gonna be up to something and on full revenge mode

yea the shit with Nero gonna spiral. wouldn't be surprised if whoever that Donte was has connections to some cartel or higher organization. Then they might try to take over nero's shit.

i think the next season will be about all the shit Jax has done and those ghosts coming back to haunt the club instead of all of clay's ghost

they definitely need to add like 2 more new club members.

and did bobby just rip off his VP patch or is he gonna be a nomad?

i still think U.S Marshall put a wire in tara office and record that convo when gemma told tara she would go tot he cops thats what did tara in..... idk bout clay the bounty on his head plus i thought them two blacks dudes sittin next to him in the cop van were gonna stick him ....there really nothin goin next season beside maybe clay revenge

Problem is "ambition" has taken hold. When Jax said to him "Looking forward to doing business with you Mr.Marks" dude started seeing the $$$ signs. He has control of Pope's holdings, has the killer gift wrapped, and is now MR. MARKS . I am sure there is a slight itch in the back of his head about all of it, but is it enough for him to start scratching it? We'll see about it next season.

I think that Fed is going to be a problem, Harvard Grad, Special Forces, highly decorated Fed Marshall, plus a hard ass cracker? Yeah that dude is going to be a problem next season.

loved the episode. could of been better but that pope shit killed me. their aint no way that would of happened to a white dude and idgaf if it is about the sons. no number 2. niggaZ aint watchin this nigga. just straight up bullshit. wtf is that? please. i cant see his number 2 doin pope dirty but i kind of agree with another poster maybe he seen them dolla signs but fuck that. he put all them dots together and even though you gone be the man you still gone let a nigga you been down with since 17 get murked by a cracka? man, cali niggaZ aint shit.

Niggas always gotta compare shit. Boardwalk and Sons had two different season finales. Other than both "villains" being taken out, shit was just different....Sons went with a more "subtle" approach, with alot of non-verbal acting, facial expressions conveying emotions and meanings; why Boardwalk went with alot physical blood and gore and really good acting. Both season finales were dope! But a few of you niggas "man-crushes" on Chalky and Richard Harrow ain't got to be used to shit on SOA. Both shows are awesome in there own rights.

That whole Pope scene was wack to me...why wasnt that bodyguard watching Jax? Isnt that his fucking job? No way he keeps his eyes off Jax until the rest of his crew gets back...

Tig wasnt held accountable, regardless of Pope having Opie killed, even though that wasnt was supposed to happen, all this shit happened because of Tig, he struck first and yet he comes out of the whole thing unscathed?

I just dont like how Jax's plans ALWAYS work out..and how is it in shootouts, none of the Sons are ever really hit? But them niggas come in blazin hittin kill shots dead on..

Them niggas win too much, sometimes it can be a lil unrealistic..even Stringer Bell got popped..its time for some of these dudes to get hurt

Prior to the season finale SOA was starting to become my 2nd favorite show behind The Wire, but afterwards i think Breaking Bad got that!

Overall good season...average finale

I agree. Like them niggas wrong and still want to be right. Pope getting killed so easy just made the show fall out of my top 5. I mean this nigga didn't become th e most "dangerous gangster" in Ockland by making dumb mistakes like this.

I don't agree with this. You seem to have forgotten that Pope burned Tig's daughter right in front of him. Let's be real, that is way worse than what Tig did. Tig didn't intentionally kill Pope's daughter, she was collateral damage. Tig didn't make Pope watch his daughter die. And Tig didn't torture Pope's daughter. So really Pope was already up on Tig. There was really no need to be so obsessed with killing him. In fact, leaving him alive to know that his club was basically indebted to and in bed with the man that tortured and killed your daughter was far more ether than killing him anyway.

And if we're going to be real about this. The conflict with Pope was as much Jax's fault as it was Tig's. Sure Tig was the hot head thatmade the bad move, but Jax was the guy that made up a lie about Clay getting shot by a black guy right after they had a less than favorable run in with a bunch of black guys.

I got to agree here. That was some terrible writing in the midst of a season that was written so well. Seriously, you build this guy up as being super smart, super cautious, and super capable through the whole season and then at the end have him making a bunch of silly mistakes that get him killed.

Yeah, Sons had the better season...but Boardwalk had the better finale.

'Don't know what it is, but the producers/writers for Sons seem to be copping out on the finales for the past 2 years.

Last year with the DA's storyline..then all of a sudden the Cartel turn out to be Feds (with all the dirt they've done)...and the whole buildup to the DA's plan for SAMCRO just suddenly goes away.

Like, "ok...everybody go home...nothing to see here."

This year with Pope.

Dude's game has been tight all season long...but he somehow gets caught slipping in the last episode of the season...without his right hand who is always with him.

Basically, it just seems like the writers have been writing themselves into a corner and can't seem to figure out how to wrap things up in the finales in a way that's consistent with how the rest of the seasons have been going.
