Wow....emotions still getting caught. I seriously don't believe the overall theme of this thread it's about racism. But since you brought that topic up..

The funny thing is racism was never buried. You just can't go to sleep and wake up and *POOF* it's gone.

Time to play Devil's advocate: What if ALL the Hip Hop was White oriented and a Black artist with came in and was crowned the best thing in the culture...would you let 'em live?

Hey, I'm just looking at the Billboard charts and who these labels are signing and then sharing the observations.

Kreayshawn is hosting the VMA's, Rolling Stone is crowning Emenim the King of HipHop, and every label is grabbing a token artist, but people want to be upset with me when I share the observation?

The casual fan will say it's meaningless and that only wild-eyed militant racist-Niggas would make this type of observation but a student of HipHop can tell you the beginning and ending of every era in HipHip and what led to the beginnings and endings.

Emenim was the Trojan-Horse and in 2011 the flood-gates were opened and in 2012 the culture will take on a completely different look and feel and the street-essence will be dead on a mainstream level with T.I. leading the charge.

Why is it hard to listen to some Black artists that raps about some experiences you possibly went through so you could relate?

the only white rappers i like are em, the beastie boys and asher roth. but of the 100s of black rappers, yall are really so mad cuz 4 or 5 are white? it is true that the media builds them up to be more than they are just cuz there white but so fucking what. fox news talks shit about obama every day but i dont watch fox news so it doesnt affect me.

for as much as people think tolken white artists "sell" and are "marketable" they really aren't. Yes white artist can be a little less talented than black rappers but at the same time waka flocka has a bigger fanbase than even the wackest white rapper and is just as wack as any over rated white rapper.

When it came to blues and rock back in the day white artists stealing black work were topping the radio charts and clearly got more shine than black artists. But when it comes to hip hop which just like blues was crafted by black culture/struggle white people overall are doing shitty at even getting white people to like them. Take em and the beastie boys out of the equation and you have 99% of white rappers being one hit wonders even in white circles.

A wu tang concert in europe is getting more white folks than a mac miller concert anywhere in the united states. More white people would rather fill up an arena to see skinny jean metrosexual white washed wayne and or white barbie nicki over any white rapper like kreayshawn. Drake the mullatto gets more buzz than every upcoming white rapper in the game and then some.

The point I am getting at is the tolken white rapper is not a good investment because they will become easily forgotten like a fad in white or black circles. Every rapper on this list does not show anything that will make them have consistent billboard top 10 songs and or music that makes a large impact on hip hop.

Diddy is a necessary evil, he's like the faggitt at the Gucci store that gives you the discount and the update on the newest ish.

Did you notice how the MGK clown was reciting "John Doe" too?? They say imitation is the greatest form of flattery but listening to this scarecrow mimic the hook to "Imma make it rain" by Travis Porter on his hook along with two Ross hooks was unbearable.

But Yo why does it seem like Brick-Squad is the vessel that these token-rappers use as a platform for validation??

Why is it that White-bitch-mob, Yelawolf, and MGK all have songs with the most talentless and ignorant coons that the culture has to offer instead of respected lyricists like Nas, Common, and Black Thought....hmmmmmmmmmm let's see of the cave-mutants and albinos can answer that.

Lol, my use of vulgar language is far from indicative of my emotions regarding this thread...which are zero.

All of your threads seem to have this same element: some bullshit theory on some pseudo-intellectual discussion about how the white people are raping our culture. What I'm trying to stress to you is that nobody gives a shit. Our culture is becoming increasingly less color-biased, but dudes like you still persist in ignorant, pro-black bullshit. Who gives a shit if a bunch of mediocre rappers got signed to a major this year? You act as if this is the first time this has happened. Bubba Sparxx? Paul Wall? Vanilla Ice? Plus, a ton more.

Why you can't just relax and listen to the music is beyond me. Just because you make these ridiculous threads analyzing inane aspects of hip-hop doesn't make you intelligent, or more apart of the culture than anyone else. Like you I've studied Hip-Hop ever since a little nigga, and I'd be happy to prove to you that I'm not an "outsider" as you call it. With that said, I don't give a shit what a color a rapper is, as long as he can spit.

Does it bother you that white people have had a heavily influence on Hip-Hop? MC Search, Rick Rubin, Beastie Boys, Jimmy Iovine are very relevant to Hip-Hop. Does it bother you that Eminem has at least 2 classic albums?

Maybe your point was not to criticize white people, but your pro-black thread track record is enough for one to assume that you were criticizing the recent signings. That Public Enemy shit was dope back in the day, but our society is in a different place, and you really need to progress mentally and stop thinking like it's 1950 still.

Let the music be music and stop OVER-analyzing every damn thing.

Disgusting.

Are you really that dense to utter these words?

Really?

What the fuck?

Seriously?

Got damn?

For real?

SMH.
SMH.
SMH.
SMH.

well it's only a matter of time before a black rap star is about as common as a black rock star.

it's inevitable. hopefully there will be some new non-pop form of music by the time that happens.
