Cutler is the most sacked QB in the league, and doesn't complain about the O-Line thru the media. Lied in the past about having concussions tried to play with a concussion against the Giants. He got injured in the 2nd quarter and medical staff told him he couldn't play, and he PLAYED in the 3rd quarter anyway but realized he couldn't plant his leg and decided he couldn't play. Cutler is a Tough dude even Brian Urlacher who called him a pussy when he 1st came to chicago said that he was hurt and his toughness shouldn't be questioned he was hurt.

Like Olin Kreutz said: People need to stfu players and analysts, its stupid to even question the injury. Unfortunately, because of Jay's reputation to the media and former teammates/players, its open season on him. Funny, Maurice jones-drew saying he played with an injured knee all season, but he sat out the last two games of the season when the Jags were fighting for playoff spot, and then back tracked when asked about his tweet. As far as him crying, I was listening to the local sports radio station here in Chicago and the reporter said that he was there when the dude from SI asked the question and reporter from the radio station said Jay didn't cry or have tears coming down his eyes.

If you want to talk about his peformance thats fine. But, dude is tough and has taking a beating all season he just got hurt. Lovie is a snake for not defending him and letting Cutler take the heat, probably worried about his questionable coaching being exposed, I'm actually more pissed coaching than Cutler getting hurt. Let's see:

- Clock Managment

- ill advised timeout when they just snapped the ball during the end of the game and then to come out of the TO to run a end around.

-Skipped the two Long FG try's and punted the ball instead

-won the coin toss but gave the ball to Green Bay

-Put Collins as the number 2 backup instead of Hanie

-Eliminated the chance to have an a backup QB because He played 3 QB's in one quarter

Cutler is a ass hole. He deserves all the criticism its karma. He and Rivers talked shit to each other and Rivers played with a torn acl and Cutler pouted on the sideline with a mcl sprain. His body language was terrible. Cutler is to blame along with Martz. Cutler threw that pick which cost them points and Martz playcalling was suspect.

The whole body language thing is so overrated. Because i've seen alot of QB's sulk after they did something stupid. But since Jay isn't liked it's open season on him by everybody.

Its open season on him for how he handled it. Im a Giants fan and I bash Eli for his retarded body language.

Could he handle the media and being outgoing and not being asshole better? yes he can, but I haven't heard his teammates say his body language or his attitude was an issue to the team. As long as his teammates don't view him as a problem, then what is the issue the media have then?

Lol @ niggas actin like a sprained/slightly torn mcl is nothin.

Cutler is a diabetic he cant get a cortisone shot cuz that raises his blood sugar level he had to play through it wit no pain killer

If he toughed it out and throws 3 int's it woulda been off wit his head

his teammates have no choice but to defend him. If he could rid e bike and walk/stand on the sidelines he coulda continued. Then all u saw was him sulking on the sidelines. Cheer do something.

The thing is he tried to play, he got injured in the 2nd Quarter and even when medical staff told him he couldn't play, he came back in the 3rd Quarter he couldn't plant his left knee, even Olin said he saw his knee shaking/buckling. Hanie said that Jay gave him a pep talk and went over plays with him but the camera's didn't show that. All im saying is, if people want to get on Cutler for playing a shitty game go ahead, but question the guys heart and toughness when he is the most sacked QB in the league and lied about previous injuries including playing with a concussing against the Giants this season is unfair.

THe doctors said his shit was torn/sprained. That should end all talk right there.

And I sprained my knee before (not even major just til the point I was limping a little). And that shit HURTS u can walk but running and putting weight on it is out of the question.

you typed way too much for any of it to be important.

Actually, it is important because what really lost them the game was shitty coaching decisions.

naw the pick Cutler threw was huge and Urlacher not scoring on the pick that 10 or 14 points right there

Eventhough Urlacher didn't which he should've, they decided to put in Collins than Hanie instead in Packer territory. Eventhough Cutler threw that INT, he missed Hester twice too. Even with all that said they were still in the game til the end. But coaching ultimately cost them.

Just wondering... suppose Cutler did stay in the game. The next play, suppose he plants to throw, his leg gives out, he throws a lame duck floater that gets intercepted, and it gets returned for a TD. Then, after the kickoff, to continue to "show his toughness" he goes back out there. gets rushed by Clay Matthews, tries to get away and totally blows out his knee while getting hit and fumbling the ball, recovered by Green Bay deep in the Bears territory. This leads to another score. Now he needs surgery and will miss games next year or possibly the whole season. (if there is one) What would people be saying? My guess is," What a selfish idiot. He should have taken himself out of the game if he was hurt." Professional athletes know their bodies and their limits. Jay did the right thing

when the most serious Bears hater on this board has to defend Cutler over this bullshit you know you're in the wrong.
