What a lot of people don't know is Brian Shaw's name only became hot when Phil Jackson gave him an endorsement on his way out.
Now...take it for what you will, but imo that 'endorsement' was no more than Phil tryin to put on a player he coached and had as an asst coach for almost a decade.

Brian Shaw probably wants to implement triangle and these GMs know it takes a season or two for it to be effective.
Vogel has said multiple times that it is because of Shaw the Pacers made it to the ECF.

Brian Shaw must be a terrible interview. Seriously. If freakin' Maurice Cheeks got a third chance at a coaching job, then Shaw must really be designing his interview presentations in coloring books.

I think Shaw should be given a look because
1.) He was a former point guard ( I know he wasn't a great player but still....) which is pretty much like the extension of the coach on the court
2.)He was the lead assistant under Phil Jackson when they won a few titles
3.) A lot of the players respect him from his assistant coach tenders. He even got cosigned by Kobe
4.) He is young and will not cost a lot of money
5.) He is still young enough where he can relate to a lot of the players better than these Vet coaches.
6.) He actually has a viable system he wants to run on offense and defense that has proven to help teams win championships (even though both teams were stacked with talent)
