I think maybe i should bump the survival thread....

I suggest making the first part about knowing when to leave.

Knowing when and being able to are very different

If youre handicapped or got some real debilitating shit going on, sure.

But if youve got means and you CHOSE to stick it out, i aint trying to hear your sad story.

The Attachments, sentimental values, these feelings, nature will gladly drown you with that.

Should of never happened in the first place, questions need to be asked. Probably catch a lawsuit.

You should have property insurance it's only 120$ a year

USAA replaces everything even if it's stolen out of my car

FLOOD INSURANCE IS SEPARATE.. YOU MUST SPECIFICALLY ASK FOR THAT

Look here, the entire street and sidewalk is gone. The water had got up to 2/3 of the driveway about an hour later of that shot, and inched it's way up slowly each hour until it started to finally subside after like 11p. I was super relieved lol

I'm off Mason Rd, the side between I-10 and Clay

prayers to all the family, friends and loved ones whoever experiencing loss during this disaster.

If you live in an area by water or near the coast where flooding can happen and trying to buy a house the bank won't give you a mortgage unless you get flood insurance.

3 years ago we had flooding in detroit about 15 inches of rain. We never get that much rain so Obama declared it a national emergency and people where able to file a claim up to 5k cuz nobody had flood insurance up here.

I'm a commercial insurance underwriter. I was talking with some property claim people yesterday and they know its about to be hectic once the water subsides and the claims start coming

Beyoncé gave 7 mill in 2014 . I think she could sit this one out

see...this is what you do to help....she's with half a bill a gives like $7mil.

goat shit.

help is help....but $25k?

Yeah that's a real safe amount for some of these celebrities, but something is better than nothing and 25k donations can add up if everybody commits to giving.

Its more celeberties that give nothing than something. So would I like to see really wealthy people give more? Ofcourse. But im not gonna hate on anyone for giving whatever
