I just read that it's worst than whats being put out. I heard it compared to Katrina. Any truth to that?

Its probably going to end up costing much more than Katrina with much more damage in terms of infrastructure, but not human casualties.

Houston is much much much larger than New Orleans and much more spread out. You can drive I-610 for hours and literally still be in Houston not back to the spot on the loop you started at.

NO is much smaller and much more concentrated area. Houston is a logistical nightmare in a situation like this. Houston and the greater Houston area probably equals the entire population or more than the state of Louisiana.

Broad on CNN at a shelter just cussed out the lady for interviewing her.

People are understandbly on edge...I remember when the first buses from LA showed up at the Astrodome. People looked scared, fatigued, and not in the mood for any shit. Reporters need to be more empathetic.

For all the Texans that post on this board ,I wish you all nothing but the best .Because the pictures I'm seeing are unreal.

The story is more important to them for career reasons. These dumb ass people go into war zones just for a promotion and an award.

They not going to give a fuck about being empathetic to people who are going through something for any reason
