I'd like to be able to leave my doors unlocked but unfortunately there are people out there who will take my stuff when I'm not home. So because I know they cannot help themselves, for whatever reason they have, I have to lock my stuff up.

A lock doesn't always stop a thief from breaking into someones home and taking their stuff.

But they do keep " honest" people honest

So you saying you would rape a unconscious girl cause she left the door open?

No you're trying to say that. I'm saying protect what you value. You don't want people in your house, as a minimum lock your door. You want to minimize your chances of being assaulted, travel in groups, don't drink until you're barely conscious, get to know someone before you jump in their car.

Bruh, you said it keeps honest people honest. No honest person would take advantage of an unconscious girl no matter how much of a dumb ass she is.

It's a cliche bruh. I suspect you knew that but just wanna play semantics.

Ain't nothing semantic about rape bruh, no matter the situation. You basically saying put up barriers of prevention, but fuck all that, no matter the situation, rape is rape. At least when it can be proven.

Now you're doing too much. I don't even know what your argument is. I was very careful in using the word assault as opposed to rape. Ways to minimize chances of being assaulted are to put of barriers of resistance. It will not prevent assault, but perhaps make a person look less of a victim to predators.

Wtf does a victim look like?

So when an old woman in a nursing home with dementia is raped, what should she do for prevention? People do horrible things to all types of people, not all rapists have a dress code.

Do me a favor. Miss me with the bullshit scenarios. My statement was about minimizing risks. You say yourself "people do horrible things to all types of people " so how can you question me saying protect yourself?

Someone who appears to look weak or submissive. Probably doesn't make much eye contact or stares at the ground mostly. Slouchy posture, timid looking. I'm not saying that makes them vicitm* but if looking strong/confident you're told to "carry your head high, make eye contact, stand up straight, appear like you know your surroundings" weak looking people would look like the opposite of all that.

So shy people are rape fodder? I thought it was sluts. I'm so confused.

I mean I'm not a expert on the psychology of rape and who gets raped, but I mean I have read or watched stuff that mentioned that kind of stuff, things predators look for and such.

When isn't a rape a woman's fault to some of yall? I'll give you real life 3 instances from people I know:

1 woman walking home at night, a man with a knife jumps from the bushes, holds a knife to her throat and rapes her. She was walking home alone at night. Her fault?

1 girl goes home with a guy she was seeing. She was 16, he was in his 20s. He gave her alcohol, she was going to sleep with him. When she asked him to get a condom, he forced himself in her raw, held her down and raped her. Held a gun to her and told her he'd kill her if she said anything. She went home with a grown man. Her fault right?

1 woman had her house broken into by an ex she had recently broken up with. He came in through a window while she was sleep and raped her. Her fault for breaking up with him?

Only the second one could have REASONABLY been prevented.

So its the victims fault the rapist wouldn't use a condom and forced themself in her?

What's his fault as a 20something man? With a 16 year old?

Often multiple people did something wrong for something wrong to happen involving multiple people.

These chicks aint disney princesses, and continuing to pretend they are is only going to get more women hurt playing with these animals.

That's an actual true scenario. Not only drunk chicks get raped. The point is, rapists are sick. It's not about how you look.

Quality posting.

The questions are asked, but they cant be heard over the "victims never wrong" crowd.

You can make a mistake and still be a victim. What are y'all saying in the thread where the cop shot the unarmed dude execution style after he led them on a high speed chase? That was his own fault right?

Could the dude that ended up getting shot execution style have made better choices so that he wouldnt have gotten killed?

What you and others consider a mistake i call a choice.

Leadinf cops on a high speed chase isnt a mistake man...

Im not defending the rapist. Just saying something could be learned from studying the victims that could further prevent future rape stories of this sort; where its involving young people and drugs/alchohol.

Something tells me these fellas would understand why its wrong to act like you are entitled to every female once their pissed off male protoector is anger drooling into their eyeball as they are being choked to death and the tiny bones in their necks begin to give way from being strangulated.

"Tsk... Oh i get it nooow."

I dont believe there has been thread involving rape on this forum where the type of rape you discribed is being discussed.

Its always some chick being inebriated and taken advantage of...

Personal accountability has to be discussed.

It's true, she should be able to pass out anywhere without fear of something happening to her. In a perfect word that would happen, in a perfect world people would probably take her somewhere better than a dumpster. But the fact is this isn't a perfect world and people take and do whatever they want to, for whatever reason they decide to. And because of that, you have to behave accordingly, unfortunately.

We should be able to that with everything, not worry about being stolen from or robbed. Shouldn't have to worry about walking out late at night in fear I might get murdered. I should be able to trust I won't be lied to or taken advantage of, but this isn't a utopia, we do shitty things to each other and you have to protect and look out for yourself because if no one is got your back, you get raped, behind dumpsters.

Holup....

So... The honor system works everywhere except for when its a drunk chick?

How?

So your answer is, the retail stores shouldnt have clothes on the rack?

Funny how we as men can understand cause and effect, action & reaction...until pussy enter the picture.

Dont understand your post at all.

Most retail stores have cameras throughout the store, as well as active security personnel that walk the store.

Why? Because people steal. And telling them continually that stealing is "bad" or "wrong" is not going to stop it from happening.

Women are already taught these things. Your parents taught you not to rob or steal right? We know right from wrong and someone is always telling a girl how to be un-raped. It is not productive or helpful. How about we ALSO focus on rape being a fucked up thing to do, instead of shitting all over the person who was just violated every single fucking time???

Did you not read your own post? The people that commit crimes were taught it was wrong by their parents as well, still, they partake.

Trying to get through to them is a waste of time. Time that would be better invested in protecting those that could be future victims.

Speaking in context of course (young people getting drunk/high and losing control of their situation)

Constructive criticism on rape and domestic violence.... never thought the day

I'm as hoh as any nigga up here but this shit dont fly. The amount of alcohol one consumes should not justify or invite any action that is unwarranted and unwanted. Matter of fact any nigga that needs liquor and or drugs to loosen a woman's legs is a lame ass boy that needs to stay home.

And to the women in here, you have to admit rape and or sexual assault/domestic violence has become a weapon for women. Not saying ALL women do it but it's enough to where people will glance over it or disregard it initially. Is it right absolutely not, but we all know the story of the boy who cried wolf
