I was thinking they could just use two new actors for a Vega Brother movie like Jared Paladecki I could see playing a young Madsen they even look alike

I still haven't sat through that movie. I got it on rent so hopefully those 2 and a half hours will fly by quicker than the first attempt

Man I remember that part when the dude came out the cave with that baseball bat he beat that Nazi dude to death SMH shit had me laughing

when the other Nazi tried to get up and got shot i immediatel fell to the floor

Brad Pitt should be nominated for his accent alone
"Now, I'm the direct descendant of the mountain man Jim Bridger. That means I got a little Injun in me"

This comment makes me think of the Dave Chapelle episode where he shot and killed a slave master, yes funny

Classic Tarantino. Damn near a 25 minute opening of knowing something is about to pop off. You just don't know what until he wants you to know. Like did we really have to wait for ol boy to drink his entire glass of milk? Damn suspense. lol.

I also think the guy who played the NAZI Hans Landa aka The Jew Hunter deserves an Oscar. Brilliant guy. Speaks 4 languages flawlessly during the movie and is just hilariously wicked.

We didn't get to know the Basterds at all, while we were led to believe by the previews that it was going to be all about them.
I wanted to know more about the Basterds.

But that ending was great (the theater)... and Brad Pitt's character was f*cking hilarious... I couldn't stop laughing when they were trying to pretend to be Italian. (neither could Hans Landa)
If there was ever one movie a man needed to watch twice... it was Inglorious Basterds.

OMG...

what a pshycotic movie.
I don't think people in this thread really understand what this movie stood for.

I saw this last night...

I'm mixed. And I'm mixed because there are good things in Inglorious that are very well done. For example in Chap. 1, which shows that Tarantino knows how to put a scene together; he knows where to put the camera and knows how to build drama within a scene. It is clearly the best scene in the movie. But then it's almost as if Tarantino gets too self indulgent with his writing and certain scenes go on and on and on until you get to the end and it's like "meh". That's what I got from this film. There are good things in this film but I was overall disappointed cause it's clear Tarantino knows how to direct but he never tries to get out of his comfort zone. When he finally does that he will become a great filmmaker capable of movies like Jackie Brown.

this was actually one movie i would have paid to see in the movies..i wouldnt quite call it better than pulp fiction..but it was a great movie nonetheless

if i was the jew hunter, i wouldve smashed the german actress at least one time before i strangled her. she had some nice titties and her look screams out freak. plus the setup was perfect too as they were both locked up in a room

A brilliant effort from Tarantino...

How many American directors these days direct actors who don't speak English as a first language? Aside from Soderbergh with Che...

I thought it would have more action in it since most of the people I talked to said it was more violent than they thought it would be.

With that said though I still really liked it. That joint was good as hell top notch acting and writting and directing and cinematography there was nothing about this movie that I thought was lacking.
