That's because Forestville Mall is directly across the street from what used to be known as, and still is to anybody who grew up in Suitland, as Forest Creek (now Suitland Parks) and Amberwood (now some other name)...those 2 neighborhoods have been 2 of the worst in the PG County for years...

Lol nigga I'm 26...the Iverson Mall I know and hated was terrible...remember the old cd store in there that was always packed whenever any artist came through? Or how they had to remove the carnivals from both Iverson and Forestville Mall because of the constant fights and shootings? Iverson Mall still ain't that nice man lol...since niggas in PG and DC done took up flagging and being Crips and Bloods, damn near the whole 28th Parkway is Crip...shit even the neighborhood I grew up in on Suitland Rd reps Crips hard as hell now...and everybody on the other side of Penn. Ave the separates Forestville Mall from The Creek (you old enough to know The Creek) they all Bloods too now
