Lopez is overrated by some Nets fans but underrated by most. Bynum is very overrated. He will disappoint a lot of fans in Orlando if he's traded there.

Yea Im not saying Lopez is great he needs to work more on his D ans rebounding but this is the only really good season Bynum has ever had Lopez has actually had a much better career than Bynum. I think Bynum has the skillset but you cant say he's necessarily better than Brook Lopez or Marc Gasol. I like Bynum but people act like him and Dwight Howard are untouchable. Dwight Howard is on another level but even hes somewhat over hyped.

bynum is a beast....... all he have to do is work more on passing out of double teams and try

not to get injured and he is good.....

even the season he got injured bynum was putting up numbers when he did played

Bynum has been in the league since he was 17 years old (youngest player in the history of the league), not been included in the offense because of who he played with, and been affected by injuries. So those stats are skewed. He was on the verge of becoming the best center in the league in the 2007-2008 season when he had the highest FG% in the NBA. He was improving every month and then he had his first major injury prior to us acquiring Gasol. He's still only 24 years old. I've seen him play live over 10 times and his body is everything you would want out of a center. He has the most offensive skills out of any center in the league. He is underrated defensively. And he still has so much potential. I can only imagine what he would do as a #1 option. He still has things to work on and he isn't in his prime yet. Also his attitude can be a negative. Bynum is way better than Brook Lopez. Those stats are very misleading.

If brook Lopez never got mono everyone would look at him very differently. Only reason people think bynum is so great is bc he's on the lakers

I guarantee you Lopez goes back to avg 8-9 Rebs a game again. Lopez is a much better offensive player also he has a decent mid range shot and has much better moves in the post. He can score with his left or right hand

I need someone to explain the hype behind Brook Lopez , he's solid on offense and thats it the rest of his game is pure trash , folks overrate the shit out this dude, hell Marcin Gortat is better than him

it's sad as hell that you got a 7 Foot center and going into the season of making moves folks gotta ask "Well who's gonna rebound the basketball" ..sorry he gotta up them rebounds and that defense to warrant how much folks like to throw his name around cuz i think he's Average

Lopez last 2 yrs he somewhat regressed defensivly but you cant say Bynum is better after 1 season tbey avg the same amount of rebounds and lopez can play the 4 and he seems faster and has a better build than Bynum.

Eyes Low....Bynum got a left jump hook and a right jump hook and a better dropstep move to the basket. Only thing I've seen Brook do better than Drew is put the Ball on the Floor and Pass outta double teams. You guys take this Laker hater stuff way too far. Now we acting like Brook Lopez is an Eastern Conference Allstar game Starter or something? There is a reason why Olrando rather trade for Bynum than Brook and it aint cuz Bynum is a big name like some fool said up there in which I disagree. LMAO @ niggas actin like the Magic has never heard of the Brook Lopez like he some underground D-leaguer and they dont get to see him 2 more times a year than they do Bynum? You guys are really a trip! LOL

He already got mentored by the Great Kareem Abdul Jabbar and he has a footwork coach by the name of Darvin Ham who played bigtime College B Ball. You right cuz all of his problems besides being able to pass outta doulbe teams are upsairs in his head and not his skillsets thanks to those 2 guys

I love Kobe and the lakers butIF BYNUM STAYS HEALTHY thats a big fuckin IF.... Brook Lopez could get better Its going to be nice to see what he does without getting doubled.

i meant to ask. why is this thread about bynum n lopez? is t/s stating that he thinks brook lopez is 2nd best behind d-howard? cause i mean concensus is that bynum is that next guy in line as far as best centers go
