Of course niggas would go off without realizing what he's actually saying...Of course they would....

What he is saying is white america look at me, I'm clean, I'm conservative, I'm a good guy, I love harsher penalities for criminals and etc to get more air time and become bigger. This is just staged.

Don't agree with his point of view, but its his and he's entitled to think whatever he wants to think.

His opinion isn't any better than yours or mine.

Don Lemon is a Black man who makes a six figure salary, so I'm sure he feels no ill effects of this blatant racial profiling.

If he were more of an everyday brother catching cabs and the subway to his 9 to 5 I'm sure his perspective would be much different on this.

So the fact that stop and frisk is racially motivated and ineffective doesn't diminish the value of his "opinion"?

Lol... Ok slime...

Get out your feelings homie.

I think Lemon's comments are idiotic, but its just that his opinion.

He'll get his nigga wake up call soon enough but one thing you will never stop is people making comments and having their own opinions.

I'm in my feelings by stating facts? U have the logic of a single mother...

Since when are opinions based in fact that's why its called an opinion.

I could shoot down most of the shit thats posted here just based on that if we want to strictly talk about the facts.

Then do so.

I think dude is really trying to clean up and speak on how the police go about frisking ppl, he think they should do it a much better way (at least that's what I got out from reading the bit) like how they do random screening on ppl in the airport, they don't run up on you, they politely (some) ask you to step aside, I think Don is saying police should take this approach more so than taking the "run up on folks and violent search those indivduals'

Don the homie, dude outta B.R. Baton Rouge

His opinion is an idea...

Ideas based on evidence are more valuable than those based on political/social agendas... U saying his opinion is as valuable as those based in reality is absurd... But we're done...

Can you refute it?...Has the crime rate gone up?...If not, would it not be logical to assume that the policy played a part in that?

That's not een my point though...Niggas actin like he endorses the shit...He said himself that the reality of the law's implication is invasive and inconvenient...However, there are minorities in the city who don't oppose the law because they see that it has a purpose...He's saying if it's done away with all of a sudden by the next mayor there is the possibility that neighborhoods will once again get dangerous and it will reflect badly on NYC...He's not sayin "I sho do luhs wens the white mans jussa luks thru my bags and frisks me on da street, yessuh!"...But niggas will take it that way...Cause they're niggas...

Wrong. There are a vast number of factors that could have contributed, the uptick in the Economy being just one I think of off the top of my head. The point is without a correlation or causation model to back up that statement it hold no water.

@blackrain sure niggaz that make six figures get racially profiled but you're being very narrow minded if you think those guys approach life with the same mindset of most everyday people.

I know very few broke niggaz with rich nigga attitudes.

I'd like to see a nigga like Kanye West try to have that attitude and persona if he was broke.

Don Lemon experiences aren't my experiences and sure I think he's a moron, but I don't give a damn about his opinion.

I'm much more concerned about the opinion of my State Representatives, Senators, Mayor, Governor, and other elected officials after all they are who to blame for this bullshit law in the first place.

No matter your attitude of being broke or rich though, the reality of the world is the same. No matter how much money good ol' Don makes he's still a black man walking this earth which means no matter what his tax bracket is he'll be subject to certain types of treatment. That's the point. His opinion is what people who don't deal with black folks on a regular basis will often take as the opinion of blacks as a whole and that shit does influence who gets voted in for State reps, senators, mayor's etc because those issues are all what people run their campaigns on. It may not be on the same level as a politician, but it does carry weight in our society good or bad.

I'm not following you folk

I took out the bit, Don was speaking about 'everybody' being search, he did mention minority but he was talking more so about how to do the whole frisk and search thing. then he touched on the airport and how it's done where they 'randomly' select anyone and search them, he was leaning on that the whole frisk and search thing should be done that way.. I'm not sure as to how you got that I'm cool with racists with my post. again this is what I took from the bit.

He was saying blacks and others wasn't having an issue with the frisking, it was a problem with how it was being carried out and done.. and he's leaning on from my understanding on cleaning that part up and making it somewhat like how TSA does it to passengers in the airport
