Now if you want to point out the "ills of religion" go right ahead, I'm all for legitimate artistic expression (if you want to call someone saying "fuck *insert religious figure name here*" artistic expression), but I have a hard time believing that individuals who struggle to craft songs dealing with diverse subject matter (outside of the usual or expected "party and bullshit" themes), somehow became "enlightened" upon entering the music industry, where they are now experts on how religion in general or Christianity in particular is somehow evil.

It's all "artistic expression" until their card is pulled about why they're "silent" about how the industry is run, and how these "blasphemous lyrics" they spit are a reflection of the thoughts of the "higher ups" in the industry.

I want to understand how you can't believe in something greater than yourself. If a person is a believer then why does it bother you so much? To what effect does it have on your personal life, especially if the majority is not trying to force what they believe on you and your life (even though you have some extremists out there.)

You cannot disprove the personal and internalize the experiences a believer had with The Most High the same way a believer cannot disprove your personal experience into why you choose not to believe.

And what I was talkin about views being forced on others, It's stuff like California governor Signing a bill last year requiring gay history to be taught in schools. From what I heard Parents cant even pull their kids outta school if they dont want their kids to get taught about that stuff

Praying in school has nothing to do with education, which is what school exists for. If you want your children to pray, go to a religious school. Public school attempts to sit somewhere in the middle so that no one's religious backgrounds are compromised because kids in public schools are diverse.

I think the difference in learning about what world war 2 was about, and a sexual preference is totally apples and oranges my dude. No one is stoppin gays from making their own student clubs in school (if so then that would be wrong) to learn futher about that stuff but to make it a part of regular ciriculum is a little much to me. even African American history is an elective that you have to take on your own out here so I just disagree with you fundamentality about this one.
