You got all these non-believers in here, but everbody's favorite 'classic' album right now is Kendrick Lamar's...Ha

So i guess yall hit mute when Christianity is referenced throughout the album, huh...

What?

Just because you not a Christian doesn't mean you would have something against the Christianity references in GKMC.. doesn't mean you can't enjoy it either..

*Smh @ idiots thinking Born Sinner is some demonic or anti-Christian message...calling yourself a born sinner is probably one of the most Christianity related things you can do...I'm not an athiest, but it's stupid shit like that that makes Christians the target for being mocked and being called dumbasses who believe anything they're told

Lol @ these comments.

You got a gay ngga singin 'What's a God to a non-believer' and yall bat not 1 eye?

lol Like i said...i can only worry about my own path, but i be damned if i dont see whats goin on

Since when was music always done from a 1st person perspective? Niggas keep dropping Jay's name and his songs when he's said multiple times he believes in God...even addresses it in Decoded where he states many times he believes in God

Only to religious idiots who have no choice but to fall on their emotions because they have no facts to back up their supernatural b.s.

I mean we are talking about people who call people crazy for having "imaginary friends" or "talking to themselves" yet they do ths shit all the time. Preferably on their knees facing a wall on some Blair Witch shit LOL.

Its for children, grow the fuck up.

That comment is not directed to those who are repsectful of another person's belief (i.e.-i'm not Musilim, but i bump Freeway)

My comment is geared toward the 'f' religion, f' God, etc, etc crowd...like this guy:

Lest i remind you, blasphemy = contempt of GOD, not of Christianity specifically

You could believe in God and not necesarily be a Christian (that's not my personal belief), but these dudes commentin dont believe in God at all... then wonder why GKMC is touchin they soul Hahaha

Jay (and other artists) says that so the sheep will keep lining his pocket

its not 'when did blasphemy become the standard in hip hop',

its more like 'when did NOT being able to express yourself artistically become the standard in hip hop'

No, blame the fans on what they will and won't accept/support from rappers...

And you know this how? Take a quote directly from Jay himself about his beliefs, or go on speculation based on misunderstanding lyrics and an album cover? And before you stupidly call me a Jay-Z stan the only album of his I've ever bought was The Blueprint and The Black Album so you can miss me with that lining his pockets or being a stan bullshit...

So if a nigga don't "praise god" in his acceptance speech, he's blasphemous? Is god on the fuckin Grammy board? God giving out BET and MTV awards?

I think niggas like Jay-z know religion has questions that can't be answered, and they play on that to keep people talking. Its like free publicity. Same as all that Illuminati bullshit. They do that shit so u pay attention to all their music and people eat it up.

Look @ the cover art for WTT. Cmon son. Its blatant. Im not religious so the shit dont bother me.

What u think he meant "fuck all these fairytales"? he talkin about Biblical stories that are basically myths.

What was the Watch The Throne album cover about?

Here u go trollin. U misreadin my post. Im not advocating for one side or another, im just pointing out the intent.

I could give a fuck who u thank @ an award show. But i still notice the change.

As for the cover art on watch the throne, i take it as Jay n Ye making fun of Christianity cuz (as stated before) its the safest religion to attack.

You didn't answer my question. What was the album cover about? What on that metallic ass cover says "roflmaoz @ christians teehehehe"?

Baphomet is on the cover.

Even if this stupid shit was true, what purpose does it serve? I mean, if people are seriously deserting their religious beliefs and foundation simply because of an album cover's ability to be interpreted in multiple ways, they were weak as fuck to begin with and would have "lost their faith/religion" anyway...you CHOOSE to not believe in God or they don't...can't nobody take your beliefs away from you no matter how many times you see Jay-Z pop an Ace of Spades bottle open or see Kanye in a leather dress
