I remember this from when it first happened.
Boyfriend crazy mothers daughter goes "missing", she doesn't report it until a month later, celebrates and parties in between, doesn't seem at all worried or bothered by it and shows no remorse.
@ Kai-the media is eating it all up and I saw the front page of a magazine with a similar report stating that she might just get away with it.

I think she will get found guilty for something much less than murder...something along the lines of Involuntary Manslaughter. The fact that many feel as if she "accidentally" killed her daughter with a chloroform overdose is absurd...who the hell uses chloroform to put a kid to sleep, just to go out to the club? However, since that seems to be the concensus, she has a strong chance of getting away with murder.
I feel that she is guilty. She killed her kid, and as a pathological liar, believed her own lie. She worked it in her head so much so, that she believed her lie, and others would follow suit as well, seeing as how she has lied her entire life, and has gotten away with it, or overlooked. The fact that her parents are willing to perjure themselves for her is a true testament to what her entire life must have been like...always the innocent one, even when all the facts are there.
Should she get away with this, should the jury say that this was "accidental", then that will be an absolute travesty of the American Justice System. It will further prove that white women can not, and will never be wrong in the eyes of society. All the facts are there, and for her defense team to attempt to make it seem as if she was driven to do this by other outside forces is a disgrace.
