That 2008 Cavs squad sucked. They got by because the East was so weak. That 2006 Laker squad could've won 50-60 games playing in the East then.

But that 2009 Cavs squad......Fuck outta here. Shaq, Mo, Antoine, Boobie, Delonte & Sebastian Telfair. I'd trade Kwame for them niggas in a heartbeat.

the 08 cavs never made it to the nba finals.

the east wasn't that weak

Fact...Lakers in 05-06 and 06-07 none of the starters started or were start worthy when they left LA....cant say the same for the Cavs squad the last two years of LeBrons career there....Mo Williams still starts, shit even Ilgauskas still started some games for Miami, Jamison can start on most teams, Shaq as well, Delonte, Gibson, Varejao....are we really comparing the "Bum-ness" of each team right now?

What Dleaguers did the Cavs have starting you fuckin morons, especially at a position as important as PG. Do niggas need to list the career avg's for these players the stars were surrounded with. It is not close, that Lakers squad was horrible and in the toughest western conference ever and you niggas trying to compare that to the fuckin soft ass east that was even softer then than it is now.

and the cavs dealt with injuries to some of their best players which was a big part of why their record tanked to the extent it did.

Any nigga trying to reach for that comparison is showing their extreme bias. Clearly have agendas.

I kno some are still in Cleveland....i made it a point to name those players who are still on the Cavs to show that these are still start worthy players....I have no doubts that at least jamison and Varejao can start on most teams in the NBA....if u disagree u must be just sayin stuff to keep the argument alive

Basically were supposed to give a shit that kobe scored 81 and averaged 35 on a team that he asked be built around him

A one dimesional scorer who averages went up but the lakers missed the playoffs(3rd time ever) had their lowest wins since 1992-94 after magic retired

Great logic thats definitely a mvp resume

Nigga log the fuck off...Kobe told Shaq to bounce. Like he knew Rick Fox, Payton, Fisher, Malone was gonna bail out too. Your whole life is agenda/spin.

LOL @ anyone who debates with this clown. If I aint follow Kobe's career, I'd agree with half of the half-baked shit Tommy says

This D.Rose award..mane

Kobe my fav player but he ain't the only reason the lakers have the record after the all-star break. It comes down to a lot of components.

1.Ron is finally playing well and not like a retard

2.Lamar is playing more consistent

3.Bynum playing with a Fire

Kobe was playing well all year for the most part, the other guys stepping up is the reason of LA going on this run. And that is no slight at 24.

no and magic deserved it.

the bulls didn't have 50 wins in those 2 years, thats why jordan won it in the 87-88 season

No.........Magic didn't deserve it. His numbers were shit compared to Jordan's & a prime reason why weighing team records so heavily is retarded. The better player is the better player. And contribution to a team's success is relative, considering how good the team was to begin with. A star taking a 12-70 team to a 42-40 record = A star taking a 42-40 team to a 72-10 record. LOL @ Jordan lovers saying Jordan didn't deserve the MVP in 1987-1989 because it would prove my point about Kobe deserving it in 2006-2007. Lying ass niggas.
