Check it. As plenty of others have pointed out, I would recommend finishing school as a backup plan. You don't need a degree for what you're trying to get into, but your posts are quite telling. I would say fuck school, but it doesn't sound like you have that work ethic or maturity to be successful without a college degree.

It's not a walk in the park. I don't even understand your post considering you even mentioned that the people you work with on a regular basis have graduated from school already (not saying you should copy others, but I mean....is that not revealing in itself?).

Considering you are not even mature enough to take 5 FRESHMAN classes (read: BASIC bullshit eng/math 101 classes) and pass them easily, I highly doubt you are even ready to create a living out of what you want to do/get into.

You need to mature some. Go to a community college to make up for the time spent fucking up, stay focused and mature a bit, and you might have a different view on life that will allow you to be more focused and ready to achieve your goals. Not trying to sound too critical, just keeping it real

The people who I work with are college grads and they are still promoting the same parties as me and GETTING the same check. That tells me alot LOL. And passing college classes has nothing to do with this business stuff.

You're only further proving my point regarding your maturity in these posts. You're right that does tell a lot. What it DOES tell is currently, if they choose to stop promoting the same parties as you, or if for whatever reason that income is no longer working for them, they have other options, while you have nothing. In other words, they all have something to fall back on, and you on the other hand will be the one that is assed out.

Passing college classes requires a certain amount of dedication and discipline. For the freshman classes, it requires basically NO dedication OR discipline, yet you failed to exceed in them (hence you making this thread asking if it was worth it to continue). If you don't have the dedication or work ethic to fucking pass english 101, but you want to (I assume) make a comfortable living promoting parties, then you are either young and naive, or something is seriously wrong with you.

I Got an A- In English 101 for your information! It was the D in English 102 that killed me. Also to pass freshman classes you still have to pass tests and write papers and shit. It's really not that easy.

Whenever you have doubt, get out.

its deeper than that though, most college students have doubt at some point.

That's you in the sig? Well I really didn't read the whole thread except your first post. To get where you want to be, there's other ways instead of college. Also doing something just to please your parents isn't always going to work. Since you said you finished freshman year, it wouldn't be that bad to drop out comparing to dropping out if you were in your junior year.

I think you are making excuses but I hear what you are saying. I've done it already. In any case though, if you don't have the motivation right now.. it's best not to tarnish your GPA/transcript. Better for you to just leave and come back rather than try to stick with it and ruin your GPA and have to go through even more BS later. Just make sure you are going somewhere and not wasting your time

Unless what your taking in school is where your heart is at then drop out, especially now that its not free all that good money your making is gonna go towards school instead of your pockets, I would say stick to what your doing now and try and build, get as much experience and stack as much money as you can, you will know when its time to go back but right now it wouldnt make sense if your going to be paying for school but already struggle to get the grades, its a no brainer imo

Freshman year and the last semester of your senior year are the 2 easiest times in college...you can literally get away with doing little to nothing and get a high GPA...college really is just about how much you can dedicate yourself, and you've already shown you can be easily distracted...you're still young...you're in love with promoting now, but that may change in a year or 2 depending on your life experiences you've yet to even have yet...it may not seem like it now, but there really is a difference between even the age of 18/19 as a college freshman and 21/22 as a senior on how you view the world...

You won't really see what he's saying until you personally SEE what he's saying. You've got a lot to think about. Just think long term fam...will promoting pay the bills? Will it pay hospital costs if you get sick (since theres no insurance)? Will it pay dental costs? Will it pay rent? What if you get a chick pregnant, can you support a family with this? Calculate every move, every move

I feel you bro, once I go into Promo FULL TIME its DO or DIE, I wont FAIL it I devote ALL my time to it.

I just need a legitimate way to explain this to my parents because they are very enthusiastic about me getting a college degree from a prestigious institution.

The explanation will just sound like an excuse if they find out about the failed/dropped classes.
