There's unwritten rules and basically it's done through

tape sessions. During the playoffs, they put the referees in hotel rooms

and show them plays from previous games, and it could be 10 or 15 plays

that they go over that they want called differently, or plays not

called that they do want called. And it's a situation that always go

against the team that's down in the series, and it programs and train

the referees to look for certain things and to put a team like

Sacramento in 2003, who had a clear disadvantage; and put the Lakers at

an advantage.

Why would they intentionally put teams that are down in the series at a disadvantage. That doesn't make sense for the NBA. Tim Donaghy was on some fluke cause he got caught slippin, he wanted to take the whole ship down with him. It was the case of a rouge cop. If the NBA is rigged, the knicks would not have been terrible for the past 15 years. If it was rigged, why would they block a chris paul trade to the lakers(though the NBA owned the pelicans at the time). I agree they take advantage of some situations like the draymond thing, but totally rigging it, I don't know. All the large market teams are terrible right now. That don't sound like a rigged league to me.

Also its been a wink and a nod for decades about certain players getting preferential treatment from officials. She isn't the first person to suggest games have been rigged.

Steph a player, the rigging of games is sort of beyond his pay grade stuff. He's there to put balls in hoops and to sell tickets. Somebody who rigs a game wouldn't tell him.
