Some of yall niggas must be somebody's bottom bitch with all that "Don't question big daddy" logic.
Bruh, are you niggas understanding that she benefits from this "rigged" league and has NEVER thrown around these types of accusations when everything was hunky dory? I saw 2 questionable calls outta the 6 against Steph. 2, nigga. That's it.
That means that nigga fucked up on 4 other plays. Not to mention, all the points the Cavs converted off of HIS turnovers and his shitty decision making. He was a MAJOR part of why they lost.
I don't understand why it's so difficult to comprehend.
Ain't no one being chauvinistic or saying she shouldn't have a platform to speak, it's that her rant was extremely hypocritical.
Uh, did you read the poll option in this very thread? That's exactly what some people are saying.
"She made a dumb comment" and "She should stay silent and not comment at all" are two different things. I agree with the former and disagree with the latter.
That's what SOME of yall aren't getting. And then you're strattling the fence saying "She should only say some things but not other things". Now you're trying to pick and choose what she can and cannot say like there aren't hundreds of millions of other opinions out there on the very same subject. I don't give a damn who she's married to, if she wants to emotionally react to the game, let her. Everyone else does. Ya'll look dumb as fuck trying to tell a stranger not to speak over the internet.
That's not what I'm saying, or even insinuating. I don't give a damn about those poll options. I'm using common sense and logic. And you ain't address shit else I posted. You zeroed in on that little segment and tried to move the goal post.
And none of that other shit you posted applies to my post either. She's being hypocritical and whiny and wreckless, is what it boils down to.
You're defending a woman who made a comment that the same NBA that she benefits from is rigged, ONLY BECAUSE HER HUSBAND LOST. Smh.
If you want to ignore what this thread was actually about, that's on you.
Like I said, and you can read through the thread yourself, some people are saying that basketball wives should just stay quiet altogether. They don't care what she said, they care that she said anything at all. Like her status as a player's wife excludes her from publicly reacting to the game. Like her one little tweet is anymore significant than social media fodder.
Soon as Trump makes another speech or a police officer shoots someone in the back, no one will give a shit about Ayesha Curry's tweet. Why? Because it was one person's reaction out of millions of other people's reaction.
I understand you have a problem with what she said. I think it was a dumb comment too. But does everyone who has ever made a dumb comment deserve to be shut up forever? Of course not. And being married to a basketball player doesn't mean you can't comment on basketball.
