As the president you are suppose to seem unbiased and his statement to some may of came off as such. The problem with white America and why they have a issue with it is simple. Because Obama is black and so is Travon. The slightest act of unity between us makes them uneasy.
Lol. They was mad because he spoke the truth.com and it hurt their feelings. But you right, why the heck would someone take offense to something when none is even offered? The president didn't take sides he just called it like it was and he 1000 percent right. as far as whites concerned, blacks is all the same and fit any given suspect description.

It's because a lot of whites have racist views of blacks and it can range from 1-10 and blacks have racist views towards blacks as well. It's a system built to think that blacks are the cause of all the problems of society and to even think that a black boy life is important is unfathomable to some and that we should be treated as equals. There is a good enough portion in this country who believe their lives are more important due to they are white. It's a god complex at the end of the day.

Because whites and blacks were already split on the issue so Obama giving his opinions comes off as him being "bias" even though white people are biased in this case as well.
