NWA sounds like rocket scientists compared to todays "gangster" horseshit

True but at the same time NWA fueled the nihilism and violent narratives on a mainstream level..the same with Scarface/Geto Boys but at least they had some balance and depth to balance the nihilism and violent.

Public Enemy counteracted NWA with the Black Nationalist/Black consciousness theme..but you also had KRS One with Stop The Violence and every emcee that repped Islamic/5 Percenter knowledge in their rhymes. Cube no doubt converted after leaving NWA and did his first two solos, his second joint had that perfect balance of gangsta/ NOI in it, but Dre, Eazy, Ren and Yella took it to another level with the second album..and it caught quicker commercially than PE or any other of those conscious artists that came out back then. Add that with The Chronic and it took off from there..

Two totally different rappers and it doesn't take a genius or a 30 year to know the clear difference. How you're even comparing the two in the first place shows your own lack of depth.

Maybe you're just not as smart as u think u r. Maybe the people you're shittin on are smarter than you and u just havent realized it yet.

Being a little humble does help from time to time

the fuck are u talking about?

NWA were the Gangsta rappers of their era... Gucci is the gangster rapper of this era... thats the comparison...

is that hard to follow some how?

At least you saw it. People loved that gangsta lifestyle back in the early 90s Cali. Kinda like how people love the trap music of ATL nowadays, with the fast money, strippers, and all.

of course.. some people believe there is really no more talent left.. it's because the crakkas is mocking the black race we always believed in the chosen ones and they are trying to deceive the world that all the chosen ones are selling out, so now they are the chosen ones.

FYI they don't like niggers or nigger lovers..."

Yeah man. Nobody give a fck tho. We still listen to what we want. The thing about the 90s and earlier 2000s was mostly everybody was in the same "gangsta" box. Now its way more open. I have no complaints about music today because i listen to what i like. And its always been new songs to add. Bottom line, nobody care when that song come on. People in a club or ridin around just go by the feeling and sound.

He's just listening to the wrong music. Let's not act like Wu Tang were fuckin' philosophers.

There's just as much dumb shit on the radio now as there was in the 90's. Actin' like "how do you want it," and "shimmy shimmy ya," were expanding minds. Fuck outta here.
