he is saying that Saigon guilty of self ether, by discribing his own career when talking about drake.

True, but Saigon got a bad deal. He just came at a time when the south was at top. Timing is everything in rap.

Now that's a hatin ass nigga.

How are niggas gonna anticipate an album that few people even know is coming? Most niggas don't even know about It's Never Enough, and THAT got delayed. The album don't got a name.

Nigga who is anticipating YOUR album?

HE has a point every one was dickriding Drake and with all the hype and expectations his album underperformed sales wise...

It outsold EVERY hiphop album this year sales wise sans Recovery. Even a Wayne EP by leaps and bounds. It's on pace to 1.5m by the end of the year.

How in the fuck is this under preforming?

Really to me hes a light skinned fabolous with much less lyrical skill.... Rappers that strictly for the bitches either stay in there postion (around gold satus but never a bonified star like Fab) or come and go cause its always gonna be another cat that comes along and makes a name for themselves in that lane...

But Drake is not Fabulous for two reasons:

1. Drake has more substance, and than being "just about the bitches". Not even getting on talent.
2. Drake is already a bonified star. His first album alone is outselling Fabs last 3-4.

Umm Saigon needs to be worrying if he's gonna make it to a second album instead of saying some shit about somebody who achieved success in a WWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY shorter time than u!!!

Drake has no substance.... I know your the biggest Drake fanboy on this site but please substance and Drake do not go together and as far as lyrical talent he is avg on his best day.
Fab last 3 or 4 done went at least Gold after his debut went platinum hes heading in that direction.
Also it didnt outsell every hip hop this year....and to me Drake music and fanbase is fickle they dont last long the jump out the fast then fall off....It will happen with Drake when his next album doesnt come close to what his first album did... and yes the about of dickiriding and Buzz homie got for this glorified Ja Rule like music to not sell 500k first week and to barely reach 1.5 mil in a year is underperforming...

I cant even fathom grown ass men with any kind of legit struggle relating or like this kid Drakes music....

But u can fathom middle class suburban kids bumpin songs about sellin drugs on the block?

Sorry homie, partyin and experiences with bitches are a lot more relatable to the average man than what most of these niggas are talkin about...

Struggle is just one aspect point is he makes music for women and teenage girls and young gay fags under 20 yrs old. Point Saigon is making which is valid is that Drake career will go down the same path of a Fabolous, Ja Rule, Nelly etc of cats who jumped out the gate being wildly popular by pretty much catering to the female and young crowd while failing to maintain the intial success from the jump to pretty much falling off. Fab been able to sustain his career somewhat cause hes lyrically ill at times... Drake isnt as lyrically talented imo...

I get what he is saying, he is basically saying Drake doesn't switch his style up and it will get old fast, similar to how 50 got old fast.

The thing you and other posters are MISSING is that Drake ISNT DOING ANYTHING NEW he took the lane that was already occupied by someone like Fab and his music with mixing of R&B like signing and rapping is something Ja rule and Nelly sold millions off yet kind fell off... The consistency of success doesnt last and there always someone who comes along does the same kind of music Drake makes etc.

Thats you dog Granted his fanbase goes up to 25yrs old but Im 26 I dont relate to a dude from a majority white viewing child/teen tv show from canada with a father in the music business with a upper middle class jewish background with mediocre lyrical skills making music about finding love....I have yet to hear song that was remotely dope at least from this album...

I get what he is saying, he is basically saying Drake doesn't switch his style up and it will get old fast, similar to how 50 got old fast.

Pretty much idk why folks dont get this.....
