I was high as shit first time I saw the trailer. When they showed the monkeys breaking out of their enclosures I turned to my friend and said "This shit is an allegory. This is what they think would happen if niggas in prison revolted."

When I first saw the preview for this movie I called it "Amastad 2" ...but I don't care...I don't think of myself as an Ape, and if white folks want to spend millions of dollars on a movie just to subliminally call me an ape, more power to them. That kinda racism does nothing but make me go "Really?" and then laugh....I really don't see this movie as being "negative"...besides non of us has seen it, but I kinda think the message they're giving off is that experimenting on these apes and treating them like shit because they're not like us, is pretty cocky...and that they're actually smarter then we think, and our cockiness could eventually get us killed...so if they are comparing Apes and Black folks...it's kinda not an insult...or "racism"...symbolism maybe?
