Then its rarely talked about again by most media people. People he disses, become cool with him, whole industry co signs. Just saying. That shit could have happened in the 90's.

My family is all B-boys and musicians, I just laugh at people who pretend like they know what woulda-shoulda-coulda happened in the 90's as if people like Raekwon, Bun B., JayZ, Nas, Kool G Rap and E40 were not making records in the 90's and would have treated Rozay differently than they do in 2011 when they collab and co-sign him.

Biggie was actually selling crack & doing what he had to do to get out of the hood. Even when he was signed to Puff he was still "broke" & selling crack cocaine. But Biggie & Ross arent the same, here u have a dude who claims to be the biggest drug dealer in miami but was actually a CO & denied it until the photos came out. Whereas Biggie actually did his dirt when he was on the come up. Also Biggie had sheer talent he paved the way for lyricism in the game & created a lyrical blueprint that many still try to follow. There was NO ONE like Big when he came out. All Ross has going for him is great production to cover the fact that hes a weak lyricist compared to his peers. Without a reputation thats believable to sell to the masses or any other talent than production if this were the 90s Ross wouldve fallen off. Theres no question about it.

I don't know if he would be a legend now, but the 90s loved fat rappers and he would have been on his A game more often than he is now...fuck it dude would have been close as hell to legendary status. After hearing him go. Toe to toe with G Rap and Raekwon id love to see him do a 90s revival type mixtape, same type of beats maybe a few boom bap beats just for kicks and killin it on the hooks. Ross' music gets better every album/tape he drops imo.
