This doofy looking nigga thinks Kick Ass and Watchmen are worthy of being in the top 10 comic book movies of all time. So somehow I doubt he's smart enough to even appreciate the genius of TMNT.

No Sin City? If you can stay awake during the Watchmen it is a good movie...IF you can survive the 3 and a half hrs.
Spidey was aight, I like X-Men more though.
All Supes movies are trash, they need to just body the concept of making a decent Supes movie. They change the actor for every damn flick and its still lame. They even had Kevin Spacey in Superman Returns and it was STILL wack. WTF?

A History of Violence, Old Boy, Hell Boy, Ghost World, Scott Pilgrim Vs the World, Men In Black....
jono;5851428 said:Supes is a boring ass hero period though. He doesn't have an engaging or affable personality, there's never any real drama or legitimate danger in anything related to Superman...so of course its shit. He has cool powers...that's pretty much it..I can get "cool powers" from anywhere.

Nolan drew so many inspirations from Year One that he should have just made an adaption of it, instead of beginning inspired by it. Also Begins was too "villian heavy." Falcone, Ra, and especially The Scarecrow were strong enough protogonists to carry a movie by themselves. I would have prefered The Batman going after Gotham's criminal element and corruption, like in did in the book.
With Year One Part 1 begin my favorite comic in my entire collection. It's a very special book to me. Those last pages explains why Bruce is who he is and why he does what he does. On that first night out, Selina kicked his ass, he got stabbed and shot.
In front of the bust of his father, Bruce is literally bleeding talm 'bout, "Father I might have to die tonight. Unless I make them afraid." The nigga was prepared to die unless he figured out a way to get the necessary edge to put fear in Gotham's criminals, and Begins didn't have that this essential element in it. Had Nolan added this in the movie, shit would have been epic. Plus there was other shit I didn't care for, Rachel knowing Bruce was The Batman, Wayne Manor being destroyed, and the black suit. I've never liked ANY incarnation of the black suit. In the end, I've always felt that Begins wasn't that much better than Burton's first Batman movie.

Only reason I spoke on your list after that is because I figured if you can dish criticism out you can also handle receiving it nh.
What does having read the book have to do with the actual quality of the movie you filthy animal? by the same token wtf does "faithfulness" have do with the quality of the movie itself? Look up what the word adaptation actually means sometime.
I have read Kick Ass for the record and probably read Watchmen before you ever knew what it even was, That has nothing to do with how mediocre the movies turned out. The only good thing about Kick Ass was Nic Cage's Adam West impression and his relationship with his movie daughter.

I like Once Upon A Time in America too, mostly because I like DeNiro & James Woods, it was a good flick..copped it on DVD.
