I like JCOLE think he is something that is really needed.... but his fanbase is so wack that it makes me not support him as much as I think I should...

Its crazy how a person's fanbase can make you almost not like the artist...

Come on dude, you're playing dumb. You really think bitches were in the club shaking their asses to Who Dat? Stop it fam.

Pump It Up was a party record that was expected to become a hit. "Who Dat" was an underground/street record that wasn't really expected to get ANY kind of airplay, yet it went Top 40 at urban radio

So why was Roc nation promoting it so much. Why did Cole himself say he thought it was something special. Its mighty convenient when a song dont pop off to just label it a "street single". Yall some damn fools if you dont think they wanted that song to make some noise to prep for his album. Once they saw it fizzled they abondoned ship.

Who Dat uses its hook more than its lyrics just like pump it up. They almost have the same tempo. So why wouldnt girls in the club shake to it?

very good read. I started listening to cole around the time the come up dropped. When lights please hit my headphones I was in awe to hear a nigga from the south so young yet so lyrical (nowadays you don't have too many nigga from the south that makes introspective music) I'm pretty sure he won't sale lots of records but I'm positive it will be worth the wait
