Too bad ya boy Nas invested in Rap Genius . It's funny only cuz a few albums are missing you people completely lose your shit . That's not a bad list at all and if one of of made it up people would respect it but I forgot a lot of you clowns rather have group mentality thinking

I agree to an extent. Simply not diverse enough for me. No Scarface, no UGK, no DMX, no bueno.

Drake, Kid Cudi, MBDTF, and SSLP aren't classics

Shoulda had Krit Wuz Here in the classic mixtapes

The Roots How I Got Over should have been in either the classic or arguable list.

Lol @ Graduation and 808s and Heartbreak being labeled anything close to classic and I like both albums.

Okay... Run away now..

So they have Take Care as a classic but.... Scarface- The Diary, Outkast- Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, The Roots- Illadelph Halflife, Nas- Stillmatic, Ghostface Killa- Ironman, Common- Resurrection, DMX- It's Dark and Hell Is Hot, etc. Isn't!!!!??? List wack bruh.

Also Nas- The Lost Tapes is a personal classic

Kudi makes white hipster music so they're swayed by that.

Man We need to make some changes. Ho is Take Care bonafide but Southernplayalistic is arguable? Lol at them slipping Blue Lines in the classic hiphop albums too. I absolutely love that album but it's taking up a spot meant that another album could have.

This thread bout to do NUMBERS solely off the fact that Drake and Lil Wayne are on there never even mind Kendrick Lamar. I have no qualms with their list. Some of you rap purists need to come out of the 90s and understand it's a younger demographic that will have experiences to albums that spoke to THEIR era as such will call albums classic. Hence Drake, Lil Wayne, Cannibal Ox, Mick Jenkins and KRIT being on there.

How you think OGs felt when niggas was saying Biggie or Red man were gonna be on par with LL Cool J, G Rap or BDK ? SMMFH but that's why this thread is so funny. Most of the albums on there are generally perceived classics.

You want to have a debate so bad

People are more upset over people like Drake having bonafide classics over Scarface and Outkast. I don't care about them putting these dudes on the list but y'all need to quit trying to fucking throw away history. Kid Cudi got 2 bonafide classics but niggas aint even talking about Kid Cudi in 2016. When was the last time a Kid Cudi thread was made on this forum? Anyway. Hiphop is the genre where people love throwing away or forgetting about older albums. I bet the guys who made this list are 30 or close to 30. Anyway, no list in hiphop should have Drake/Kendrick/Kudi having bonafide classics while Outkast/Scarface/Jay/NAS got arguable classics. Put these young guys on the arguable list until Ten years after they projects dropped.
