2. Urban Legend - Solidified Tip as a REAL heavyweight in the game. Production on this one was bananas.
3. Trap Muzik - Self-explanatory
4. I'm Serious - Underrated joint. This joint flopped, but it was the height of the downloading craze and EVERYBODY had this album
5. Paper Trail - A little more pop than I'd like, but of joints on here too. And lyrically, this album is near the top.
6. TI vs TIP - Another album that gets a lot of hate. This is in no way a bad album. 60-70% of the songs are dope. But
the ones that are bad...are BAD
7a. Trouble Man - Not a huge fan of this album. But it's got some joints. Dre's verse on Sorry is reason enough to cop it.
7b. Paper Work - See above
8. No Mercy - Trash, Basura, Garbage
Bruh u prolly have the best breakdown in this thread!
And u hit the nail on the phuckin' head about "I'm Serious"! I was in college went it dropped and when I tell u EVERYBODY was bumpin' that album @ Georgia Southern, u could just ride by hearin' it out of peoples card around the campus /city. But like u said, damn everybody who had it, burnt it. I only knew a couple people who cop'd it, including myself.
And you can tell No Mercy was rushed right b4 he went in for his bid. That shit was so bad, I felt like they should have given him another couple of months in the Bing for even releasin' that frisbee. lol
Word. I was a freshman at Alabama State when that joint was out and you couldn't walk the yard for 10 seconds without hearing a nigga blasting that shit out their dorm room window. I bought that shit only because I always been a nigga who wanted to pay for his music.
And Bruh...no Mercy was TERRIBLE. Like...awful. Besides I Can't Help It and maybe All She Wrote, the shit is useless.
Cuh, I'm the same exact way! Although I don't buy as many albums as I used too, if I like the artist and or if I know the music is quality, I'll pay for it w/ no problem. We still from that era of rippin' off the plastic and having the artwork (plus I look @ production credits by/c I'm a producer).
And another song I did like on NM was "Poppin' Bottles", but I think I might have listened to that album a total of 10 times, MAYBE not even that! lol
Word. I hate niggas complaining about shitty music when they don't pay for it. What incentive does a nigga have to really be meticulous when he crafts his music if he knows niggas ain't gonna buy it. Word to Dre 3000 on 'What a Job'.
Look it up.
