Racism will never cease on this Earth and reverse racism is being accepted as well. The only songs that I've heard and personally liked by Eminem are "Lose Yourself" and "When I'm Gone", because they both have a positive, thought-provoking and uplifting messages to them. Yes, most of his music may be psychotic, over the top, over-exaggerated violent. But at the same time.....I can't listen to a lot of music with talk about guns, gang banging and killing people of the same color, drug dealing, pimps, "bitches and hoes," misogynistic mentality either. But there is one thing I can give Eminem credit for and even Chuck D stated it himself,

"Eminem is the new Elvis because, number one, he had the respect for black music that Elvis had," Chuck D said. "I think he's courteous and sympathetic to black music, and, unfortunately, he's more sympathetic to black music than many black artists themselves." http://top40-charts.com/news.php?nid=3516

That was from Chuck D himself, the man who said "Fuck Elvis and John Wayne!!!!!!" on Fight the Power (Chuck D wrote the lyrics for the song). I like Chuck D & Public Enemy as well as I like The Beastie Boys' "Licensed to Ill" and "Paul's Boutique" (both of them are classics!!!!).

To me and it's just my opinion, Eminem is the highest selling rapper of alltime!!!! It's unfair to call him the "GOAT" because there are many that are equal or better than him, but they don't the get the same amount of attention since they're not in the mainstream/commercial arena. "All people are created" (Constitution), but all people aren't treated equal!!!!!

One last thing (not trying to be religious).....there are only 2 people who're truly Non-Racists......God and Satan!!!! Because they don't care what color you are and they try their damn hardest to recruit you!!!!! Peace!!!!

Politically correct?

Politics=Police See the trick?

I'm just correct not correct in a "political" manner

Both of those are needed..If there was no evil, why would there be good? and the reverse applies

If somebody breaks in your home and your family is in danger of being killed and you kill the invader before he hurts your family

You just committed a murder..Are you evil?

Exodus states Thou shalt not kill but the God in the bible is one of the biggest non mercy having murderers in the bible..Read it if you don't believe me

Relegion is bullshit.a spell of the matrix

"The judge treated me fair, like any other human being," Eminem said afterward. "I just want to get it behind me and get back to spending time with my little girl and making music."

The Grammy-winning star was charged after a June 4 confrontation outside a Warren nightclub. Police said Eminem pistol-whipped a man he says he saw kissing his estranged wife, Kim.

In February, the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Bruce Mathers III, pleaded guilty in a deal with prosecutors, who dropped a charge of assault with a dangerous weapon.

The charge carried a maximum of five years in prison. Macomb County Prosecutor Carl Marlinga said earlier that he would seek no more than six months because "he has no record and there was no serious injury."

Circuit Judge Antonio Viviano also fined Eminem $2,500 and ordered him to undergo counseling and submit to drug testing. The rapper must ask the court for permission to travel overseas.

"In this case, the weapon was not loaded and there was no direct danger to human life," the judge said.

Eminem"s attorney, Wally Piszczatowski, argued that the rapper is "a self-made man" who has "overcome many obstacles." "He has the ability to overcome this problem as a minor setback," the lawyer said.

On the advice of his attorneys, Eminem made no statement in court. He stood silent between his attorneys in a dark suit and tie.

The difference between music and movies is that movies are intentionally fabricated, for characters. Immersing yourself into a role is the basis of a film. Music? Not so much. If Eminem felt compelled to create characters, then I think he's in the wrong field. We don't listen to music to be entertained by characters; that's why we go to the movies. Music is an entirely different arena, altogether.

The idea that "rap is entertainment" is dismissive. People use this excuse to justify Soulja Boy's greatness, or Gucci Mane's greatness..."well, they have hot beats and their music is entertaining." We can do better than this, folks.

I think finding the balance between realness and entertainment is important...no one wants to hear 1000 bars of truth if it sounds boring.

Yes, racism does exist in hip hop. However, it's some of the black artists and some of the black fans who are more racist than anything. Some rappers drop the words "cracker" and "white folks" in their rhymes. That's just as racist as a white rapper dropping the n-word.

Secondly, a lot of black fans get upset when non-black people use the n-word in a song or in an interview. I'm not justifying it, but we need to clean up our own houses ourselves. We ought to stop using that word before we get mad at somebody like Fat Joe or J-Love for using it. We as blacks are not setting a good example for Latinos, whites, Asians or whomever else wants to get into the rap game or be a fan by using that word so much.

Third, it's no secret that some black fans hate white fans buying the majority of the music, or even listening to it. We treat a white fan like their opinions mean less and like than like they're mindless consumers. White, black, Hispanic or otherwise everyone has the right to be a hip hop fan, to buy the music and to have opinions on it. Also, all our opinions are equal.

As for Eminem, I'm a big fan of his. I don't care what race he is, this black man is a fan of the music he puts out. He's a good lyricist, a good storyteller and makes entertaining songs. I can't relate to a lot of the stuff he raps about but that has nothing to do with his race. I can't relate to a lot of these black rappers who think they're drug lords and killers either though. Until there are more rappers talking about having a 9 to 5, paying the bills and running errands I can't relate to any of them, black, white or whatever.

You miss the point that in a industry any business products ARE CHOOSEN IN ACCORDANCE to what the business or the executive believes is marketable..it isn't about talent..If blacks didn't invent hip hop your hero wouldn't have a platform to stand on..Hip hop was disrespected by industry in the beginning..

Record companys decide who gets famous..but ya'll niggas don't get that fact..thats why you don't see a hundred mcs making jay-z money..because THEY chose jay-z to make that kind of money

US as the hip hop fan CAN also choose who gets big... IF everyone bought records WE COULD DEMAND who gets big... I buy CDs and wax, but most fans dont... If everyone bought CDs etc Then it would force the companies to put all the money behind the artists We wanna hear... I could give A daum who gets famous coz I buy material from artists I wanna hear, From rappers like Immortal Tech, Ras Kass, Hasan Salaam, Lowkey, Pac, JMT, Ill Bill, Sabac Red, Mos Def, Common, Keweli, The Coup, Fugees To Eminem, LL, Wu, Jay, Nas, Big, Littles, G Rap, E40, Richie Rich, Luniz, Mad Skills even old Big Will (Smith), Ram Squad, EMC, Baby Blak, Da King and I To old skool like 3XDope, Jewel T, Cold Crush, Fantastic Romantic 5, T3, Run DMC, GM Flash and Stets etc Who cares who they promote, buy the schitt you wanan hear

Fuck race, if A rapper is mad dope, buy it and support it... Simple as that, its hip hop not A race war, its bought races to 2gether since day one... Like Charlie Chase being the in CCB...

Any slight a black rapper has ever made toward white people pales in comparison to the racism that black people encounter on the daily and white hip hop fans spew constantly. Which rappers are using the word "cracker" and what is offensive about saying "white folks"? They're folk, and they're white. They're white folk.

Cracker isn't even in the same realm of offense as nigga or the n-word, and white so-called hip hop fans are using these terms daily on this board and among themselves.

Now, we use the n-word as a means of weakening its power over us. When a non-black uses this word it is a means of trying to demean and assert their power over us. I don't let that shit affect me, but I'm not going to sit back and let these white folk whine about a double-standard. It reminds me of an interview I heard where Eminem was saying he would never work with Lauryn Hill because he "heard" she was racist and then went on to claim that his success had nothing to do with his skin colour. Racism against white people? Please, that's laughable. Eminem gave a glimpse of his issues in that interview, that boy has a problem.

I don't think there are very many of us who get upset when white people buy our music. I think it does upset a lot of us when white fans go on to claim that Eminem is the greatest smartest most articulate rapper that ever existed, when white fans try to separate hip hop from its black roots, or when white fans get pissy when rappers talk about black pride and pride in the motherland. This is black music. White people can do it, they can love it, they can embrace it, but it's our culture, not theirs.
